Sorry for not being on thread or topic for now. But i found out something.
Last night my MSN was hacked, and my screename was changed into an harrasing insult. I keep my computer behind TWO firewalls, and i don't see HOW someone could have toggeled my portsSheIlD off. Unfortunatly i saw later that day, that this screenname was not linked to my account at all, and something my blackIce caught was an IP adress tracing all the way back to JREF's main site. This post is not something to scare people, it's a warning.
Keep your hotmail account safe, make your passwords ATLEAST 14 digits in letters AND numbers if possible, and even better, a combination of both with as many variables as possible.
I have send the following email to Micrsoft.

Subject: hacked.
Dear staff members,
Recently my account ([email protected]) has been hacked. The screenname has been altered and turned into an harrasing insult. Do you have any bootlog record on this could have happened, or which IP adress has altered this?
The main reason for me posting this on the forum, is the IP my black ice caught, traces back to jref's main page, as a means, he must have taken my information from here. There is no other possibility, since my only MSN name is stated and posted here alone. I will delete and purge my account, but beware.
Thanks for your attention.
