I am editing photographs I took last night. Adobe Photoshop CS2 has most certainly become my best friend. <3 I hope that it does not fail me when I go to art school next year.
Hopping by and saw this interesting thread... Well, basically just posting this post and frustrated over how my msn got a virus and i can't use it at all...
I'm sitting here pondering how i'm going to entertain my little niece tomorrow night when I babysit her. She's an energetic little thing who's just learned to run everywhere. If I don't keep up with her, I know she'll do her usual trick of putting all my sister's dvds in the washing machine, and the clothes pegs in the DVD player. I think I need some training for this! :angryfire
Only kidding of course! How about some dvds or making up a game that will tire her out?
If all else fails, bribery always works!!!
I am pondering what I should do with myself this long weekend, it being the first weekend in *ages* that I don't have to work! Anyone got any suggestions?
You could just tie her up!!!

I am absolutely shocked at that suggestion storey How troublesome to bother with fiddly rope when handcuffs are so straightforward! lol
My sister tells me my young niece should be sleeping like a...baby...throughout the evening, so I just have to select some DVDs (from the washing machine - hope they've been spun already!)
Hmmm, a spare weekend in Tokyo. Have you been to Kamakura? Perhaps a day strolling around Yokohama, with a nice meal in Chinatown? The John Lennon museum in Saitama isn't far, and worth a visit if you're a fan...?
I'm sitting here in the glorious sunshine, still a bit disbelieving that there was an earthquake in Kent this morning. I'm taking my mind off it with a cup of Tetley tea and learning about caviar from the fantastic Saturday Kitchen on BBC :gohan:
Ummm, I don't envy you your 'predicament'; somehow I doubt I'd be any good at looking after a small child - although playing with kids can be fun, too!
If I was in your position I'd just regard that time as set aside for playing with the kid, and lose all thoughts of doing anything else. If she falls asleep though, then you can have some time. Drawing, colouring in, lego, play-dough... you don't say how old she is... and now the evenings are getting light, maybe you could play outside in the garden, or go to the park!
*looks at thread title* I take it this is the random thread?
I'm trying to learn Hungarian. Or at least, phrases in Hungarian. lol. The 'lonely planet' phrasebook is like the best ever... haha.
Hm, yeah I got the Japanese version and it's useful - but I don't know when I'll get to use some of the phrases like
"you're just using me for sex"!!!!
Is that in the Hungarian version too?!
