Usage of これ、じょん

Good Day People,

While studying Japanese, I did encounter usage of phrases which I have never seen before. One is, what the title says, the usage of これ、じょん.... Is this part of formal Japanese, or is it slang? I have checked all my N2 resources and found nothing of that sort.

BTW, watching some Japanese shows, I also frequently ignore it, since I can still easily establish the meaning even with it removed.

That, however, I am not entirely sure. Based on what I heard, it should be the one that I have written. But, if it makes sense to do the amendment thou proposed, what would be its meaning? Apologies, I actually did not bother to find the meaning until it became clear that I am hearing it rather frequently.

EDIT: One also found out in the internet that it can be written without the comma. Anyone, please?

じゃん is a casual shortening of じゃないか. I've never heard これ、じょん at all. I don't watch television much and really don't know what you're hearing.

(Did you mean to say "thou" or was that a typing mistake for "that you"?)

Based on what I heard, it should be the one that I have written.

Isn't the phrase "じょん" you heard the same to the repeated chorus "いい―" in the CM linked below?

I've never heard これ、じょん at all.

The only situation I can think of where that phrase might be used is when ご隠居さん is calling for his dog whose name is "John".

Are you watching TV from Osaka? When I lived in Osaka I frequently heard that expression; you might know that different parts of Japan have different dialects, and I believe that is part of 大阪弁 (Osaka dialect, or slang).

It's been so long since I lived there though that I can't quite remember how it was used, it just sounds remarkably familiar. Sorry I can't help more right now; I'll keep thinking about it throughout the day and try to recall how/when it was used.

EDIT: I was referring to これ、じゃん, by the way. I've never heard これ、じょん.

The correct answer is already given by Mike-san. じゃん is a young people's dialect. (originally Yokahama dialect, and not Osaka dialect)

Minna-san, thank you for all the replies. I actually found the exact word after countless hours (not really) of searching. It actually is これ以上 （これいじょう）. Pathetically far from what I have written at first. Hehe, it appears that despite being able to master 2.5k Kanjis, and most N1 vocabs, I am still pathetic at practical use, and listening skills despite knowing the meaning since I am used to reading Japanese in context only. Well, anyways, I still thank you all for answering.

Sorry if this sounds sarcastic, but the person who has near N1 vocabularies uses the word "Minna-san"? It's better not to use it anymore in order to avoid being doubted about your level.
