The script used is actually AIH which is a professional image hosting script used by hundreds of sites. To date, AIH is secure, infact the script has been customised to GoPics for extra security and features.

A site backup is done twice a week and encrpyted using TwoFish. The backups are held is a secure off-site location to which no-one has access.

I don't think you have anything to worry about with the security of the site!
