According to my professor, the visa procedure should be able to start after 16th this month.

I have applied for Research student course (then Master course) at Graduate School of Information Science and Technology.
Regards the accommodation, the administration office has contacted and sent me an application for international student housing, which i have filled it and sent it back to the administration office.
However they stopped replying my email after I had sent them my housing application.
What about you? Which department did you apply for? And did they tell you anything about the accommodation procedures yet?

I have applied for Doctoral Course at Graduate School of Engineering Laboratory of Analytical Geomechanics.
I have also submitted my accommodation application. They said the results of dormitory allotment will take place in August. They will inform everyone at that time. If you are a MEXT student your visa and flight procedures will take place after July 16.
I am also waiting for that.

Wow Hokkaido U sent you guys accommodation application? I haven't heard from my university ever since I passed my additional documents (pledge, etc.)
Who else are filling up/taking care of their accommodations?
(Maybe my university has a different processing for accommodations? :? )

You can contact your university administration and also enquire to your colleagues applied for your university.

Hi! Congrats on your scholarship! I am also accepted and just wanted to let you know - but you probably do already - that if you start Oct. 1st, you cannot go to Japan in the beginning of September, but only 2 weeks prior to Oct. 1st. But, perhaps your program starts in September, in that case: ignore my message
