Umm... Here Goes For My First Post!

Konnichiwa,

My name is Xochiquetzal Barros, but my friends call me Xochi (for short) or Craig since my name is a tongue twister. I currently live in Chicago, going to college off a waiter's income, but I am Brazilian grown. I love all things Japanese from the catchy pop music to the traditional culture. I like to recite my favorite pop songs (anything from Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi, BoA, Nobuchika Eri, Tamaki Nami, Utada Hikaru, Mika Nakashima, and Morning Musume) [but I also listen to Mondo Grosso, Ken Ishii, capsule, Gackt, and Heaven 17 amongst Hip Hop and R&B], I also enjoy watching extreme Japanese film (Ichi: The Killer and Tokyo Rampage are among my favorites) and anything directed by Akira Kurosawa and Takeshi Miike. My dream is to sing in a karaoke bar, in Japan, become a music producer, and a voice actor for anime.

Sorry for the long intro, but you asked for it, I didn't know if I should have made a new thread or replied to one... but oh well. I hope that I could have the honor of meeting some cool people here. If anyone wants to ask me more questions than I already answered, feel free.

Hey Xochi! Welcome to the forum, don't worry about the 'long' post....you have obviously never read one of my posts, certainly not the ones in the J-bot thread....they are truly, truly, madly, absolutely, stunningly long (you get the piccu, right? ;p) aha! you certainly do have an interesting taste for japanese music and movies. congrats with that ;p Xochi is a pretty cool name, now I come to think of it. And ofcourse, as a true FFlover, I love your ava of Lulu. Hope to see you around!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I apologize I could respond to you guys sooner due to the fact that I have been a busy little bee for the past two weeks.

I recently relocated to Miami, at MIU, for an internship for about 18 months and things are getting pretty interesting and I am glad that I have chosen forensic science as my major. Between owning suckers in Midnight Wagan and exploring Tatarus in Persona 3 FES, I guess I could say that things aren't so bad.

OMG!! My new Alienware laptop and my order from CDJapan has just arrived. And as far as school and the internship is concerned, my schedule is booked solid!
