I'm probably the odd one out here, but I do think there should be some level of filtering or censorship, at least in the public fora. If they had an adult only section then that shouldn't be filtered, but in the public section there could be youngsters reading.

There actually is a filter in action. Have you ever tried typing any "nasty" words? They'll quickly change into a buch of *s as soon as you press Preview or Submit :haihai:

to me our Forum has a lot more class & classy people then most! If a post is going to remain for a LONG time and be read by thousands of people from all over the world, why make it ugly & crass.Swear words are made to shock not show intelligence. They may be OK for verbal arguments, but those are frowned upon for Forum posts.
Spoken swear words disappear into the air, typed ones remain for all to see.Look at it this way, would you want your parents or grandparents or younger siblings to read your posts? My guess is many young and old non-members enjoy our Forum; let's give it some class!
