My wife and son took the cat to the vet today to get his shots.
The cat got bundled up in a carry cage and off they went.

The cat hates the cage of course, and it is a pretty miserable experience for him.
The 4yo boy was fascinated though, and figured out how the latches on the cage worked when we got home. He was chasing the cat around the house with the cage until the cat attacked him.
I tried to explain to the boy how the cat felt, not being able to talk with words, so that is why the cat scratched him. Little boy is thoughtful, then walks off with a furrowed brow.

The house is silent, but soon I hear meowing in the next room.
I check it out and find the boy has locked himself and the cat in the next room. The cage is there and the boy is 'talking' to the cat by meowing.

He says "I am telling him to get in the cage. I am bi-lingual."

lol...nice read. Imagine how well someone could talk to animals if they were actually raised by such.

Hm, thats um, weird.

Doctor Doolittle has been reincarnated!!!

hahaha... Reminds me of my own experience back when I was around 6 and I went along with my family to this restaurant. The restaurant was basically outside so there were cats and dogs around. I found this cat and just started meowing, thinking that I could speak with the cat. In the end, when we were about to leave, the cat kept following me. Too bad my parents wouldn't let me keep it.
