translation software for english to Japanese

Hello,
Ok i'm back in the states. Miserable but i'm back... I wanted to know does anyone know of a proper program that i can install on my XP box, so that i can type a E-mail to someone special i met while i was in Japan in Romaji so she can understand it?
I think they exist but i'm not sure.... I'm sure they are expensive but i think i might be worth it. I'm sure that business must use some type of SW that will enable them to do this..

If you type it in romaji, she'll understand it.

Typing in Hiragana and easy Kanji is not that difficult. If you understand some Japanese, you can do it. Finding out how to do won't be that difficult either. Just do some research on the web.

Really? I did not know that.. I'll ask her again and see what she says... told me the first time that it was all "Gibberish" not her wording mine.....
