Todays weather

Overcast wer and miserable, the misery only broken by long spells of rain and wind.

Anyone who lives in a nice tropical or just NORMAL climate.....die.

lol kidding. :p seriously though its 4 weeks till summer and the weather is still crap.

Today is fairly warm (don't know the actual temperature, but yesterday was 29) and cloudy. There's a slight breeze in the air which makes everything feel very fresh and cool. Overall, I'd say it's a nice day.

Our weather is still crappy. Saturday was fairly nice, but not really warm enough to sit outside. Sunday was miserable. Monday was miserable. Today is miserable. I am miserable :(

Ugh !

Rain here for the next few days. The state has been plagued by woods & grass fires so I guess we need it. Need to mow the lawns by next weekend for sure.

Come to Utah, where the weather is unpredictible.

Of course we have great snow in the winter. But it will melt really fast, and seem like summer in the winter for about two days. Then out of nowhere, the snow piles up to a foot+.

During the summer, we have actually had snow come down. Crazy.

Right now it is pretty warm, but we will be heading into some showers and thunder storms (my fav) into the weekend. Looks like I will be off from my work at the golf course for a while. SWEEET!

We have some great weather recently, but I am currently looking for Noah, as we have had a deluge yesterday and today. The thunder today has been on and off, but yesterday was amazing. We have a constant rumble of thunder for about 10-15 minutes. No let up at all. The clouds above us were flashing constantly and the roads became rivers.

It's here !

We got our first snow in Portland today, not enough to cause car accidents, just enough to look nice. The rest of the week will be below freezing in the early morning. Makes it seem more like winter/Xmas time.

We've had some goofy weather here in the Philadelphia area over the past several days. Most of last week saw springlike temps in the mid to upper 60's, on Friday, December 1st, it reached 72, I say again, SEVENTY-TWO, a rarity on the east coast this late in the year. But that didn't last long as the storm that dumped a foot plus of snow in the Midwest came calling with heavy rain and high winds, but, thankfully, it was a fast mover, in and out of the area in roughly an hour. But the storm left behind drastically cooler weather, as a result, the mercury's struggled to climb past 45 ever since. At least I'm used to this instead of shirt sleeve weather for late November! As long as it doesn't snow!

Well I'm here in Wisconsin and it's cold, what a suprise. It's about 15 degrees F or about -10 degrees C. :shiver: Big snowstorm last week Thursday and snow today again...at least it pretty for Christmas. Why I stay living in this state amazes me. We have hot, humid summers with thunderstorms and tornados,:atsui: then autumn which is cold, dreary and lasts a few days before you get straight into winter....Oy winter...dark by 4pm, stays dark until 7am...you turn all white, pale and ghostly...we look like the walking dead. And then comes spring...sometimes...you never know...it could happen in April, May or June...They say if you live in Wisconsin you'll eventually get to the weather you like. :giggle:

Over here in Stockholm (Sweden) it's cold and damp. It rained last weekend and the weather is still grayish and cloudy. It's depressing that it's almost in the middle of December and there is no snow!
Folks, stop ruining the earth so we can get some snow over here!

Fasten your seat belts!

We are due to get a classic "Nor'easter" winter storm tomorrow. It means around a foot of new snow with up to 70 MPH wind gusts. The ocean will have 15 to 20 foot waves. There is a chance of a period of heavy icing which will mean power lines down on no lights or heat. Ohhhh boy, can't wait to get to use my new snow blower!!

I actually miss that kind of weather, I'm jealous. Today it's rainy, with thunderstorms expected all day, so we have a cool day with an expected , high temp around 70, with humidity.

I want to go home and go to bed.

Happy Valentines Day!

It was sunny with 30 celsius (86 fahrenheit) in Monterrey. And tomorrow, high of 9 Celsius with rain.

Pay attention to our expert environmentalist Al Gore. Global warming is destroying our planet and the world will be over in no time! U.S. is already paying the consequences of not signing the Kyoto Protocol just by Katrina alone. (This is a sarcastic post, there ain't no such thing as global warming). Just the beginning of a new Age, like the Ice Age.

I bet the people in New York are agreeing with you about right now.

Man I wish we had some snow in Okinawa , just for one day or two. I think everyone here would freak out, but me, I'd be like a pig in you know what.

Stay warm, have a nice hot beverage, and stay warm. 21 degrees different that is a serious drop. Take care!

Thanks Obeika-san. See, we barely get snow. Hell, school gets cancelled if we ever get to 0 celcius. But this ain't nothing. I have been in -14 celcius weather in northern Atlanta.

Yeah, it is getting very wild. Very extreme. I read an article in Japan Times saying that this might be the only winter in Tokyo that has not gotten any snow. Also the only winter without hitting the freezing mark. Correct me if I'm wrong.

When the British ruled the Punjab.....they drank steaming hot pots of tea on the hottest days of the year to balance out their inside and outside temperatures. See, conversely drinking an ice cold drink on a cold day actually results in a more comfortable body temperature.

Why do you drink ice cold beer on a hot day?

What else are you going to do with it?

Sorry I wouldn't know about Tokyo, as I live way down south in Okinawa, which has weather along the lines of the Florida Keys in the US.

Maybe someone else here can help you out there.

Well, here in the Philadelphia area, we've gotten a goodly amount of everything. Tuesday afternoon saw two to three inches of snow fall in the city while temps were in the 20's that night. Right now (0400 Wednesday morning), we're getting sleet/freezing rain as the mercury's slowly climbing, by mid-morning, it's supposed to changeover to just plain rain before the temps dip in the afternoon and we get some snow showers. Like I said, a little of everything. Still, it beats being in upstate New York which saw TEN FEET of snow fall late last week. YOW!

By the by, I do seem to recall having read an article online about Tokyo not getting any snow this winter, so it appears that it is true. Amazing!

Not to bad a storm.

Because it turned to sleet at the end of the storm, we only got 10 inches of snow. Wind stayed about 30 MPH with a few gusts to 70 MPH. A few thousand people lost power , but not my house. Kind of fun taking the wife to work this morning, lot of 6 foot high snow banks to peek around. The new snow blower is a treat to use, throws the snow about 30 feet in the air. The end of the driveway was about 2 feet deep and packed hard from the snowplow, but the snowblower chopped through it like soft butter. Doing a driveway 95 feet long and 12 feet wide takes less then an hour. Hasn't been above freezing here for several weeks and no warm up in the near future, love Maine winters!

Old Man Winter's Last Shot

Today's weather? It starts with "s" and rhymes with "witty". On Wednesday we had sunshine, blue skies and temperatures having reached 72 that afternoon. Forty-eight hours later, the temps dropped a whopping 40 degrees as we've been battered all day today by a wicked combination of rain/sleet/freezing rain. When I got home from work and listened to the latest forecast, I heard that it was just 29. I'd say we've gotten a good two inches worth of slush and assorted mush which I just finished shoveling, and the sleet/freezing rain is still falling with promises of a conversion to just plain snow as temps drop through the night. I can't remember experiencing such a nasty-*** weather turnaround like this. To this, I plead....SPRING! WHEREFORE ART THOU?

:(

Where's spring?

Windy with 2 inches of snow so far with a total of 7 to 10 inches before it will be done late tomorrow. What they call a Nor'Easter; sometimes here in Maine we get them even through the end of April. Guess I get to use the snow blower again tomorrow.

We had heavy rain in Virginia while states further north (Maine) got snow. It seemed that all winter it snowed all around the central part of Virginia, but we only got a dusting once. Yesterday it was in the 70s F (20 C) and today it was in the 40s F (5 C).

It's raining heavily for the afternoon-evening time... But it's still really warm... Around 30C I guess??:p

Still winter in Maine !

We are due to get between 2 and 10 inches of heavy/wet snow here in Maine tonight. No cherry blossoms for us in the near future, LOL.Glad I didn't put my snow blower away yet.
