Today, in Western Mikawa, it was cloudy, partly sunny. There was a very brief flurry of snow at about 8:00 am, and the temperatures were in the mid-single digits Centigrade.

We had some damn freaky weather here over the past couple of days. Thursday began with temps in the low teens when I left for work (5:45 a.m.), by three that afternoon when I left for home, it was no better than 30 with light snow falling, a couple of hours late, it was freezing rain, coating everything (sidewalks, streets, roads, cars, you name it) in ice as it was still below freezing. Overnight, it changed to plain rain, then by 5 a.m. Friday morning, the temps were in the low 50's!!! Talk about wild changes! I just know I'll wind up with a cold after dealing with all those wacky changes!

Had another of those freaky-deaky weather changes over the past couple of days. On Friday we saw a high of 64, even though it was foggy as hell then cloudy all day long. On Saturday, we had some heavy rain early (as in 3 a.m.) along with a tornado warning until nine a.m. while temps reached a high of around 50, then came that wicked change as a cold front moved in with some devilishly high winds and the mercury dropped like a rock. As of 6 a.m. Sunday morning, it's all of 29 degrees with winds whipping around at nearly 50 mph and we're already near our expected high of 31. Looks like Old Man Winter is back to show us who's boss!

Well, it's 0618 here in Philly and we, along with most of the east coast from Maryland to Maine is getting hit hard by a major snowstorm. It started lightly Saturday afternoon, but picked up steam overnight and is hitting us pretty good. Just looking out my window, I'd say we've already got nearly half a foot on the ground, and it's not due to end until mid to late morning. And with winds kicking up around 40 mph, we've definitely got blizzard conditions.

For us here in Philly, it's aour first major taste of snow since early December, so I imagine this is coming as quite a shock to some folks here given we've had an unusually mild winter, but that's all over now. And I've got to wait another four hours before I can shovel the crap away. And you wanna know what's even worse? The timing absolutely sucks as we're getting the worst of it on a Sunday. If the snow began twenty-four hours later, I'd be looking at a probably day off from work on Monday! URGH!!

We are due to get 8 to 10 inches of snow with blizzard wind conditions. I've only been able to use my new snowblower once this winter, so I can't wait for it to be done with. Don't look for me in chat tonight, I'll be "MOVIN" snow!

Yesterday morning we had a light frost. This morning it was raining. We have weather coming from the altlantic at the moment. They are predicting wet and mild for the rest of the week. Not bad for a town that is approx the same longtitude as Goose Bay, Labrador City in Canada and Berlin and Warsaw. I love the Gulf Stream

How about this: After a major snowstorm on Sunday, followed by temperatures bare above freezing on Monday, we damn near reached 60 today! That's S-I-X-T-Y!!! And we're due to have a repeat on Thursday and Friday. It's been like this all winter long, bone chilling cold days followed by springlike days and back again. In a word----sheesh!! This has been the wackiest winter ever!

A few hours ago it was 40 degrees, now it's snowing to beat the band!! The ground is all white again ! This weekend is susposed to be up in the 50's. Good ol Maine weather, if you don't like it, just wait a minute or two and it will change.

Sorry to hear that you're getting more snow. In the meantime, temps are supposed to climb into the upper 60's today and throughout the weekend. But I'm staying wary because one of the worst snowstorms here in Philly in the last quarter century happened in mid-March, so I'm staying my guard!

We had snow last weekend - while I was getting new windows fitted! The workmen didn't seem to mind a bit - good blokes. This week it has been much warmer but has rained almost constantly - which is good news, as it is giving my new windows a good test. So far, so good

It snowed at the soccer on the first of March... havent seen any since, and I didn't even wear a coat out tonight... hmm has been a strange winter here in Korea too... but I cant say that I have had any other winters to compare them too. Seems that it snows and then the weather is beautiful... and not so cold.
Funny how its warmer at the ski fields too.
Tonight I spent an hour on the subway, and came out to rain. Drove back home for an hour and its not raining, I guess Seoul is big enough to keep the rain in one area for long enough.

If I recall, you're a big fan of (UGH!) snow, so I imagine you were probably happier than a pig in slop last weekend. Well, spring is on the way, and soon I'll be able to sock away the shovels and rock salt until December! I can't wait!!

Unbelievable weather here in Tennessee for the 12th of March. Right now it is 81 degrees, partly cloudy with a threat of thunderstorms and possible tornados tonight and tomorrow.

Coming on the heels of the warmest winter on record I wonder what kind of spring and summer we will be having. Things just don't seem "right" this year.

I know what you mean. I heard a report on my local news radio station that we might have an abnormal hurricane season. Certainly something people who live in gulf states DON'T want to hear, especially in New Orleans as they're recoving from Katrina.

Well, the cold weather came back this weekend, and we're supposed to have it all week. Although I like wintry weather when it's winter, it's supposed to be spring now! I want my floaty skirts and vest-tops and sandals! I am sick of the sight of woolly jumpers, boots and thick socks

Well, temps here in Philly reached 74, almost a record for mid-March, but that won't last long as a cold front is on the way to put a chill on things, literally. According to the long range forecast, we'll be lucky to see 40 by Friday. Sheesh!
