Hi everyone! I finally got pictures on the discs, and I would like to share some of them with you guys.

I have been living in the Adirondacks for about six years, but just this year, I've started to climb on the high peaks, and I'm addicted to it.
It is drastically different from living in the cities of Japan; that maybe one of the reasons how much I appreciate living in a place where you can drive up to the trailheads within half an hour.

i live in amsterdam.. pretty big city, and it has the largest oldest city center in the world... sometimes i just want to go out of the city, but if i stay out to long i miss it... australia would be a great place for me to live in the future!!!!

Nice pics misa.j. Thanks for sharing. Being born and raised in New York City I had many a chance to visit the Adirondacks during our trips up north to visit my fathers family when we were younger. Nice to see the views again. Great dog you have there. I love dogs and have two myself!

Dave, you can go hiking with us anytime! You might be surprised how quiet and small my town is, though. But if you want to be in nature, there are so many things you can do.

Pachipro, have you done any of the high peaks during your trip in the Adirondacks? I hope you make it here someday again, it's as good as ever was.
Thanks for your compliment on my dog. She is such a trooper, not afraid of jumping up & down on huge rocks and likes to lead us through the mountains.
What kind of dogs do you have?

kirei, I just checked the Shenandoah Valley; it looks beautiful, I like the vegetation with the leaved trees, reminds me of trees in Japan and different from alpine trees we have in the Adirondacks.

That sounds like my town. The town I live in has a population of 1000. It's a farming community, and it's so peaceful(*knocks on wood*) and pretty, too.

I'm just wondering how the in-laws will like it when they come to visit next month! ☝

Wow, kirei! In-laws are coming? I wish my parents did, too. Isn't your husband from Wakayama? Or, I though he was from somewhere in Kinki area...

Have you been to his hometown in Japan? I think the climate of that area in the summer might be similar to where you live. I'm sure they will enjoy their stay.

Misa, he's from Konan, in Aichi(and no, I've never been). He says its kind of the same climate as it is here. I hope they can adjust.

The only problem I see, is that our town is so small, and his sister wants to shop for all her designer things...

What lovely views. Saw similar ones when I went to south Poland and hiked in the Tatra Mountains. Dutch Bakas bound to be jealous, he's from the Netherlands. Not many mountains there. Probably gets a nosebleed by going upstairs

Saw similar ones when I went to south Poland and hiked in the Tatra Mountains.

That's funny how you mentioned the mountains in Poland.

A lot of people from Europe come to the Adirondacks every year, my friend just met a few Polish on Tuesday when he was hiking in the rain.

Some Germans had told him that the Alps was heavily used, and they liked the Adirondacks much better.
We have the motto, "Take only pictures and leave only footprints", but I sometimes find trash on the trails which makes me angry.

I CANT HELP IT THAT WE DONT HAVE MOUNTAINS ( if i see mountains, i need some weed!!!!!)

i was waiting for the sheep to trip to....

but dont worry frank, i will see mountains this summer, as i will be going to kobe, going to walk on the MT ROKKO!!!!!!! ( i want to do the Fuji.. but my girl dont want to go to the top... snif snif... i want to go to the top!!!)
