Get ready to sit back and learn who I am. I was born in Montreal, Canada in 1963 but have no idea about my surroundings since I left 2 months later to Wilmington Delaware. Anyway, after a few years there doing the school thing and soccer thing I then moved to Ormond Beach Florida were I finally stayed more than a few years. I graduated from Seabreeze Senior HS then after a month of that I and my family once again moved to Santee California. Short story there got married divorced and didn't know what else to do. I was driving around in my 1969 ﾂ"Whiteﾂ" VW Bug (remember those?) well anyway, after the car broke down a man (in uniform) came out and offered his assistanceﾂ…well I am no dummy and new that he was in the military. I told him that I watch TV and know that I was not military material. Well after several extremely hot hours in the summer sun he invited me in the building for something to drink. While I was in there I noticed the pictures and the other entire military heritage proudly displayed. Of course you know the rest of the storyﾂ…ﾂ…ﾂ…ﾂ…ﾂ…ﾂ…ﾂ…Okayﾂ….well I joined the service (Army) in 1986 where I went to Fort Dix, New Jersey for Basic Training, Fort Lee, Virginia to learn my job and my first duty station was Germanyﾂ…..I love it there in fact my first several months there I met the love of my life ﾂ"Noraﾂ" and asked her out of course she said yes and wouldn't you know itﾂ…19 years (this December) I have never regretted a day of joining the service. I am retired now with 20 years, 3 months and 27 days (but whose counting) of serving proudly. I also have two sons (Michael) 23 and (Christopher) 17. I am so looking forward to learning and knowing each of my classmates and hope that we will be able to talk and share more stories together.
