Things to do before I go back home

Hi guys,
with 4 months left before I go home, I want to cram as much of japan in as I can. Currently my plans include the Kenka Mikoshi in April, Kanamara Matsuri also in april, see Osaka Castle and Himeji castle , see the hanshin tigers play, and throw in some Sakura viewing too. But that's not much to fill 4 months with, so what do you guys suggest? I'll probally try everything you think is worth doing, so let's have it!

Recommending it is a 'IYA' hot spring of Tokushima.
Facilities are old, and lodging does not suggest, but an outdoor bath is good.

Please eat Sanuki udon of Kagawa by all means.
There are many well-known stores.

There's an Izukaya in Namba that has all you can drink for 2 hours at about 900 yen. It's a little hole in the wall, but if you ask around, you should be able to find it.

I want to recommend Kenroku-en Garden of Kanazawa.
I want to recommend Dogo Onsen of Matsuyama of Ehime by all means.
Dogo Onsen became the stage of book "BOCHANN" of Soseki Natsume.
It is written in a public bath of Dogo Onsen that "BOCHANN must not swim" so that there is the scene that "BOCHANN" swam in a public bath with a novel.
In addition, there are all over Japan a lot of recommended places.

Wait, Nagashima-san, are you saying Miyajima was destroyed in a typhoon last year? I don't want to hear that! Do you have more details?

I visited there last January (2004).

Edit: OK, I did some research myself. I think you should still visit Miyajima if you can! It was only closed for a month, and the most famous icon, the giant torii, was unhurt. The site was *damaged* but it was NOT destroyed!

Most of the restoration of "Itsukushima-jinja Shrine" seems to be over. :sorry:
Complete restoration of a Shinto shrine seems to take it for two years.

Oh my god! WHERE IS IT???? Man, and I thought I knew all the good drinking places in Osaka! At least give me some more details! Is it by the JR station? Near some brothel I might know about?
