Hehe, maybe since its Gaku's photoshoot, he had his way and made them go nude too? :D:D:D:devilish:

He must have! He forced them. Probably ripped their clothes off, too! :devilish: Gackt's such a pervert! *pervert*

Karewa hentai and not always in the cool way. Yes, Gackt, it IS bad form to say "good in bed" so why do you anyway?! :auch: Kimiwa hentai baka, Gakuto-san. *slaps Gackt*

Nuu no slapping Gackt -shields him- :D:D:D:D

Isay, Gackt is such a ***** its not even funny, all he does is take nude pics of himself :devilish:

Ooii. Fine, defend his hentai-ness.
And anyway nudity doesn't equal *****. And it doesn't bother me either. Just sometimes his hentai-ness does...at least whenever it's not in the Yaoi hentai way. Eh heh 😌 but...it's just...I dunno...the way he talks about women sometimes bothers me

Oh, but Rose loves Gaku, she must defend him 😌 Sorry! :sorry:

If Gaku isn't being a ***** there, then I don't know what is :D:D:D

How does he talk about women?:?

... Oh, that's not Gackt being a *****! That's... Gackt... sunbathing? ... Thinking? ... um... having tripped? ... practicing a dance :? ... Oh nevermind, he IS being a *****! :devilish:

... he talks about women as... objects sometimes. Or that's what some people think. He's being very... erotic and sexy about some things... like when he talks about his.. 😊 love life. Also, how a woman should be... There's one chapter in his biography that's been very critizised (sp?) by western fans: It's when he talks about how he wants women to speak in a polite way and really be careful how they use their words, as not to sound rude, or boy-ish. (japanese can, as everyone might know, have big differences between male speach and female speach) .. and Gackt has been said to be sort of... conservative about things like that. Never bothered me! 😄
I'm not sure that's what Hyde meant...

That pic! But... why is the picture blurred at the bottom?

Well, that's some of it. I swear if I ever met Gackt I'd make it a point to say "boku" as many times as humanly possible and watch him physically flinch every time.
What bugs me is by his on admission he puts sex above a lot of other important things and yes does objectify women. And it's not me saying this from a "western" stand point. It's just, as a women, I find it offensive. And the differences between how men "should" talk and how women "should" talk isn't what bugs me it's the original reason for it. That's why I never say "atashi" it's always "boku" with me. I mean I have a great respect for Asian culture and these problems aren't just found in Asia so don't think I'm picking on them. Sexism bothers me no matter what culture it stems from. It's not that I'm saying Gackt's MEANING to be sexist but he still kinda IS nonetheless. He doesn't bother me as much as some men (mostly WESTERN men) but still.
I'm being very iliterate and not making much sense so I'm just gonne shut up now.
ENDING NOTE: And by God I will say "I'm hungry" however I please, thank you very much Gackt-san.

okayo kay... ISAYHELLO::: i DESPERATELY need ur help... u noe how u uploaded oresama?? how did u do that? im trying to upload a concert and its not working... i was wondering... if u could help me? since ur like.. UPLOADING master =D thanks MUCH!

Hyde: I agree and understand what you're saying. However, I still think it OK when Gackt says these things about 'how women are supposed to speak'. Japan still has big differences when it comes to male/female, even more so than Europe or America (but sometimes not). Since the japanese culture is still divided in male/female, if you grow up in that society you're gonna get affected. For example, many japanese think that a married woman should stay at home and cook and take care of the children, whereas this 'traditional image' of a woman might be changing in Europe or America (and lord knows it's about to change in Japan too!) . What Gackt says is what a lot of japanese guys think - and also what a lot of japanese WOMEN think...

I personally don't think that having to speak with 'female-japanese' is sexist. It gives your language a tone of femininity, if you want it. I'd use 'atashi', or 'watashi', but I'm not sure I'd wanna use 'boku'.

Besides, seeing what pressure Gackt has on himself, I think it's only fair that he can demand a little out of the women surrouding him: Gackt has a million eyes upon him, he's gotta look his best always, he's gotta diet, he's gotta work out, he's gotta make up (sometimes) - those are demands of an audience (made up of mostly women). If you think about it, isn't it pretty sexist of us to comment Gackt's sexy body or always expect that he'll look his best? (And YES, offcourse his music is the most important, but heck - I still think no one can honestly say they don't care one **** about the way he looks, especially not in this thread!) Well, that's the sort of pressure an artist has to stand up against. And Gackt does. And Gackt demanding women to speak in polite tones is STILL sexist, I agree with, but I would not call Gackt a stupid macho-guy for it, because he puts up with the same stuff himself. IF Gackt would be a fat, lazy, unemployed, beerdrinking, barfing person instead, and would demand what the real Gackt demans out of women, that would be annoying - because then he'd not work hard for anything himself. As it is now, he does millions of women a favour, and inexchange asks them to do a favour for him. If girls don't wanna speak like 'Gackt wants them to speak' - so what? Everyone has the right to say wft they want. God knows I would never change the way I speak because Gackt told me to, however, I still respect his oppinion.

... 😌 Sorry for damn long post, but it's interesting! 😄

Kaine: ... :D ... Sure I'll help you. But what's the problem? Don't you know how to upload, OR is that particular file not working for upload? How big is it? What site are you using? Yousendit can be a *****, but it's still my favourite.

I like the way Gackt looks, yes, but I don't demand it of him. I actually couldn't give a s**t what he looks like, it's his business. He just happens to be beautiful and I enjoy that but if he decided to change that I wouldn't care that horribly much. It's his own beezwax what he does.
And maybe I've way too many lesbians traits for my own good 'cause I really don't feel a pull towards wishing to be feminin in my manner of speaking or anything really.
And when did I say he was a macho-guy?? He's not. That isn't what my point is.
And I know the Japanese ideal of what a woman should be is still very different but again THAT'S NOT WHAT BOTHERS ME. There's nothing wrong with women staying at home and watching the kids etc. the problem rises when that becomes all they're ALLOWED to do. Japan (thank God) is no longer at that point but they aren't far removed.
...Okay, I'm not quite sure what I'm trying to say here. I guess to me it just irks me sometimes to hear Gackt say offensive things towards women. And yeah I know Japanese women are raised idfferently and therefor it probably doesn't bother them as much. But that's what's sad, that women think being spoken to that way is okay. And it doesn't matter what you say women are STILL like that in the west too. We've had it drilled into us that "that's just how men are" and to just look the other way or to simply grit our teeth and bare it. And men are USED to women doing that so THEY now think it's normal and so now both women and men think it's just how it is. And that's wrong. It's wrong on so many levels.
Am I making any sense at all? 'Cause I don't feel like I am.

EDIT: And you just proved my point. People think it's TERRIBLE but the guy has to LOOK the part for it to be. But if he's pretty then it's okay. NO, IT'S NOT OKAY.

I never really gave it much thought. It's like... some guys just have different preferences of women. Some men like women who are small, cute, look and act kind of "girly", have "feminine" sounding voice... etc. etc... others prefer more "strong" sort of character, more independent-seeming (I don't mean in real personality necessarily - just in the image they put across). Different looks and mannerisms attract different people, for different reasons. I guess Gackt is just one of those guys who likes "girly" girls. OK it's kind of annoying (well I find it annoying because I'm not girly... lol), but I'm not gonna slam him for it... people can't really help what attracts them. Yeah, I think it's a sexist mentality for men to like "girly" girls because it's almost like they prefer them to be of the submissive type... but it's also up to women how they behave and present themselves. They don't have to be like that. Probably some of them prefer to be in that role, and also probably find it actually enables them to be quite well in control of a relationship through... well, through subtle manipulation, I guess. Not something I'd choose, but whatever floats your boat......

Has anyone here noticed how wrong the phrase "whatever floats your boat" is? I mean, ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Okay, sorry, yeah my brain went THERE for a second.

Ok, well, then I guess that's where I disagree. I care for Gackt's look. I loove his music, but I still can't help looking at his pics and feel amazed by his beauty. I respect him for his music, but also for the hard effort he puts down to look like a god.

I agree fully - it's wrong that we're being brainwashed from the moment we are born - put into categories whether we're girls or boys - boys are supposed to like blue, girls pink - meh, you know! And it goes on and on, as you say. That is terrible. Sometimes, it feels... as if it's impossible to break this 'trend'.
However, being a girl wanting to be feminine or wear pink, does NOT nescessarily have to mean that girl is a slave under the men who demanded she was like that. Femininity can be a choice, and can be as much an advantage for the girls as a bad thing. It's sexist for the guys too - they can't act feminine without being classified as 'GAY!'... meh, you know what I mean, that sort of **** makes me really tired - guys who can't look at a guy who dresses classy without calling him gay. Both ways, this difference between females and males is wrong - it's sexist both ways!
I don't wish to be particularly feminine either... it's never been my cup of tea, because I most of the time end up feeling incredibly stupid if I was to act all 'sensual-lady-like' *pictures herself doing so and laughs*

... hm... damn, you got me. But I swear, that's not exactly what I meant. I mean, if Gackt would still look like he does, but NOT work hard, and state oppinions like that, I'd get annoyed also. I mean, I didn't mean that if a guy looks like Brad Pitt, he can say anything and it's OK. What I was trying to say was - Gackt works HARD HARD for his career. Off course he's good looking without working hard, but I swear, the diets, the make up, the demands in clothing, means hard work - so what I meant was, if anyone has the rights to state oppinions like that, it's someone who's putting up with equal demands everyday... err... damn, I can't seem to make sense! I'm trying to say, he's a slave under sexism too... or wait.. .that sounded REALLY wierd.. nevermind! :D
I know you said you didn't care about his looks, but I swear and promise you this; millions of others fans do. The japanese fans tend to be more obsessed about looks than the western fans, not only when it comes to Gackt...

''whatever floats your boat''? ... never heard that one before... *again starts speaking in Swedish* Sounds funny though!

I'm not talking about what color you like or sexuality. I'm talking about the basics. I'm talking things like sexist comments, sexual harassment etc. Women have been taught to act like good little pets and lie down and take it. That's f**ked up. I don't care if a woman is quiet, nice, and the stay-at-home type what I care about is men thinking it's wrong if a woman ISN'T that way. Same for men, how they're supossed to be all stronge and never cry and s**t. It's all BS in my opinion and I hate it. It's a problem that's very wide spread.

Beezwax sounds close to business. It's slang.

I don't care how hard he works for it it's still sexism. You can't make exuses for sexism, it's not exusable.

And I know I'm being harsh on everybody's fav Wonder Boy but this is a hot button issue with me.

Ok, as far as Gackt wanting a soft spoken well mannered woman, doesn't mean anything except him wanting a well mannered woman. It might seem sexist but it doesn't mean anything, except that's his type of women. Everybody has their own image of what the perfect woman.

I'm not going to quote anything cause theres to much I want to answer to. Instead I will give my opinion. I grew up a girly girly, I still am a girly girly, I get my hair and nails done, love to wear dresses and skirts ( I wear pants also in fact I have like over 25 pair of jeans) And stilleto's are my friend. I speak very softly, and am mild mannered.

Yet this same girly girl, has no problem beating your A$$ if you cross me. I was raised to be feminate, yet to take ish from nobody. Even though I am soft spoken, if I fill wronged, I will always say my piece, gender be damned. I was taught stuff, like you always serve men food and drink first. They don't even have to be guests, it can be family members who are always over every single day. They can come into the kitchen and see food on the stove. Yet you are always supposed to ask "are you hungry do you want me to fix you some food?". And this is in the home of the feminist movement the U.S (maybe its like this cause its the south?). We do this also with female guests, but they are served second.

On the other hand, you would only ask this if they haven't served themselves, or if they didn't know you cooked. Many times if its close people and not real guests, like people who's 1st-3rd visit, (cause after ther 3rd visit your considered family) They will serve themselves because for the most part in my house the kitchen is always the first person most people go anyways, so you don't have to do this that often.

Yet yo

And there's nothing wrong with that. I was raised in a home rather like that (just MORE so) but I went on backlash instead of letting it become me. Everyone deals with things in their own way. So I'm not trying to talk down to you or anything. I completely respect where you're coming from and I'm not saying it's wrong. I respect that you can stand and say, "this is how I am, Deal."
But I was raised in a home where I couldn't even do that. I was brought up in a strict Christian home where the women weren't allowed to so much as address the Ministers of the Church. We couldn't ask questions either. We had to ask our husbands, brothers, or male figure in gen. to ask the question to the Minister FOR US. I was raised to speak softly, to be polite, to smile and say, "I forgive you" even if I wanted to rip the @$$hole's head off. I was raised to be the Perfect Good Little Christian Girl. To me it was smothering. Now look at me. I wouldn't be caught dead in a skirt (no offense) unless it's black and flowing and allows me to move as if I'm in pants (I'm a Goth so I can't help it), I don't speak very politly at all (unless it's when I'm first meeting someone), I speak my mind, ask questions, and if I don't forgive the little f**ker then I don't say I do.
There are extremes and I've been from one to the other and I must say that I like this one better though it gets me in quite a lot more trouble. But it's honest to who I am. Being the nice girl is sometimes honest to who other's are and therefor it doesn't bother me. But the problem is women are expected to be the nice girl even if it isn't who they are.
