The Fanservice Thread

I remember once DemonHunter uploaded something that was split somehow? Maybe he knows how it's done?

I don't care how hard he works for it it's still sexism. You can't make exuses for sexism, it's not exusable.
Nah, but still - don't you think he puts up with sexist women too? I mean... don't you think his fans are sexist for commenting his looks or demanding out of him to be good looking (even though I know you stated You don't). I feel your making Gackt into the bad guy here, but jrockers are treated like objects too! (But they probably have a lot of fun, though)

(thanks for explaining the word and that phrase!)

It was really interesting to read about the way you were brought up - I can't even imagine what it must have been like (no offense to your family or anything, that's NOT what I mean) I mean.. how you had to be girly and couldn't even ask questions to those ministers... Must have been the most frustrating thing in the WORLD. . . And I see how this could have (or has) affected your oppinions on this question. I mean, off course I too like to discuss, but I don't get mad about, as an example, Gackt's oppinions. However, whoever has been brought up girly girly and felt they weren't comfortable with that must have quite a different way of looking at it.

And I know I'm being harsh on everybody's fav Wonder Boy but this is a hot button issue with me.
Nah, nah. He needs it! ... after all, I don't think even Gackt himself remembers the last time someone critizised him... :D

Kaine: Yeah, Oresama was 652mb, so that's almost exactly the same size. What I did was, I left my computer running... 😌 ... uploading with yousendit. Took a while, but not too long. I guess it depends on your internet connection. Mine is pretty fast. I'd agree with Kinsao - ask DemonHunter - if he knows how to split videos in two pieces, that would be better, ne? Good luck! 🙂

Dude, I couldn't even wear sleevless shirts! My skirts HAD to go at least six inches past my knee and I had to always button the top button on button up shirts. Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. My family's much better about that now...well, my dad isn't but who cares what he thinks. Thank God for divorce or I'd still be trapped in Good Christian Girl mode.

And yes, Gackt does need it. *pokes Gackt*

I had to dig out my user and password after finding this AWESOME THREAD. God, I love fanservice. Thanks for all the piccies :D

I also wanted to say something about the Gackt thing-

I'm a big fan of Gackt but the stuff he says about women annoys me, especially when I think about all the young impressionable young girls who are dying to get his approval that are hearing him saying all this stuff.

What really bugs about is that Gackt fools around with gender roles a lot (even dresses like a woman sometimes) and yet he denies the same thing from women? Seems like in Japan men are allowed to look feminine and kiss each other on stage without people screaming "ghey!!!111ichi", and yet women aren't allowed to experiment in similar ways.

It's not about being feminine or not- it's about the very limited definition people have about what *is* feminine. If being feminine means acting like a child even though I'm in my 20s (aka lolita complex in japan) then I'm not feminine and I don't want to be. I just wish people would stop forcing their ideas of femininity and masculinity on others...

Yeah, being a woman in Japan is still very limited - and I think you put it very well, Hobbitfeet!

However, I can't feel angry because of this, since it goes way back and things are obviously changing. A big cultural question like this isn't something that's going to change overnight. It will change, but slowly. Japan today has already gone trough some major changes when it comes to this gender role problem - and I feel certain and hopefull that things will turn out better and better.

... but the lolitacom in Japan is worrying though... because in that question things haven't improved, but rather turned out to become quite a problem - The lolita complex has turned from bad to worse in the last years, and japanese men seem to look for women who acts less and less their age. Even if the female ideal is different in Japan, this cannot excuse why the number one sex object should be a highschool girl in these days  Back in the eighties, at least it was the decent office lady... This is quite worrying... and is a threat to the development of a future Japan with a wider, freer definition of feminine.

But one thing is positive: They DO have a very open view on men and their sexuality. Men are allowed to expleriment a lot, and cross the gender-borders without anyone thinking that's nasty. It's infact considered beautiful if a man dresses like woman. And on this topic, I think Japan has realized something that western countries haven't - there's still horribly little acceptance when it comes to men experimenting with gender roles in the west.

I love fanservice too ^^ ... it's the definition of beauty! 😄

Hyde: They actually decided what you were to wear and not!? ... mustv'e felt like being trapped in some ways...

It's so odd how it goes the other way 'round over here. If two hot women kiss it's totally cool ('cause bolding, potbellied men get off on it  ) but if two guys kiss it's the "ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!" syndrom. If a guy dresses like a chick over here people point and yell "FA****!!!" but if a chick dresses like a guy she's called a tom boy and nothing more is said. But it's still a double standered both ways here. 'Cause the chicks in question have to be "hot" for it to be okay. Which is sickening. And men'll say it to your FACE too! "Yeay, two hot chicks, totally cool with me. But if they ain't hot pieces of @$$ forget it, that's disgustin' man" AGH!!!!
And as for the lolita syndrom... again role reversal. In the west it was heading that way and then one eighty-ed. It seems to be doing the reverse in Japan. But like a ball it'll bounce back, go up and down but never stay one. It still BUGS THE HELL OUTTA ME THOUGH.

And YES, I was trapped and not in SOME ways but in ALL ways. I was a drone back then and didn't even know it.

It's really odd how it goes the other way around, yeah. But neither is better than the other. (or... actually, I think the japanese guys kissing is more hot than two lesbians kissing, but that's just me)

The lolita complex is terrible, especially when it leads to your average japanese guy being classified as a pedophile by western standards.. 😌

However, we mustn't forget that asian women look smaller/younger than most western women do (when they're at the same age), and some japanese girls I've met who were around 25 looked like they were 17, 18. (And that's not them TRYING to look it, but actually doing so)
Women trying to act like they're 15 when they're not is annoying... however, some people naturally look very very young.
*wishes she looked more like a woman instead of a child*

But that doesn't mean I'm supporting the lolita complex... 😌

I find both very hot personally.

And yeah it is hard to not to have a "lolita" complex when most women over there do indeed look very young. But that doesn't mean I support the lolita syndrom either.

And now getting BACK to fanservice:
heaven25-1.webp

*points* Hands. Look at their hands--especially Tetsu's. 😍

The women looking young is no excuse for the lolita complex. To them it just isn't as sick as it seems to us, bacause they've grown up with it being like that, I guess.
And omigod, is that really Laruku! That's so cute:D

:( i thought this would be a happy thread because it's about fansiervice, but it's not happy at all...:(

I know!!! I luffles that picture!!! When you first look at it you don't really notice anything *cough* but then you do a double take and it's like "OMFG!!!!"
And YES, that really is Laruku.

And I know it's not REALLY Fanservice but...
Hug2-1.webp

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *squeals* 😍 😍 😍

Wow, you're being a worse b***h then I am right now and that's saying something. Did you not catch the sarcasm?

i am not being anything other then myself. if that offends you, then i apologise. i will try harder not to cross you next time. :-)

OK i really don't want people leaving again because of conflicts in this section! Stop it!

You're like the people who say, "It's a free country I can speak my mind!" Ever wonder WHY they have to always point out that it's a "free country" or that "they're just being themselves"

OK i really don't want people leaving again because of conflicts in this section! Stop it!

Unfortunatly you're dealing with two people who by the looks of it can't keep their silence and let the other win.

Could you just stop blabbling nonsence and try to be as others please? Nice and polite, always willing to help...(not saying that you are not, just i didn't get that impression) You are always so.... how to day... you always get angry quick and you are pissed off for little things that in the end don't even mather.

"Don't even matter" people say that a lot to me. And yes, I'll be the first to admit I have a short temper. But if I said, "Stop posting Kyo pics" to you or said to isayhello "stop posting Miyavi pics" or what ever I think you guys would get pissed too

Ok you got the point! But all you post is Hyde pictures!! At least most of them!

Because I got Insight BB and lost all my AOL fav places and so Hyde pics is pretty much ALL I HAVE right now.

Have you ever thought of googling some other pictures? Do you think i have them all on my compie? Heh... noo!! :-)
