I love this place, and I'll tell you why....

One of my favorite things about my time in Japan actually was only indirectly related to Japan itself. I really enjoyed being part of an international community of world travelers. My friends came from countries all over the world. It was interesting getting to know them and I've always felt that I have more in common with travelers from other countries than I do with my own countrymen who don't travel. After leaving Japan I really missed being a part of that and this place to some degree helps me to fill that void.
