Something awful happend to me today

This is basically the same as the thread "wow something great happend to me today", except that rather than posting something good that happend to you, you post what it is that made you have a bad day.

Well today for a change, I dont have any awful experiences.... maybe the little fishies in my side dishes at lunch were awful to look at while I was eating?
No the insatiable heat is awful. Too awful, and there is no beach for me to swim at near me

The bad thing that happens to me today, is that it's Monday, I have to go to work, my boss is back from a 2-week vacation, I am knackered... But that's not so bad. Not like, a *really* bad day.......

This threads different. Its not about rants. You post about your bad day. Or something bad that has happend to you one that day.

I see the difference, smurf-san. Now does that mean if the day has gone by rather hurriedly without giving me a break to comment on it, and it's already the day after, then I don't qualify to post it here ? Must I go to the rant thread for delayed reporting on a bad day ?

Hmmm...Well, i'm not having a bad day. I'm actually having one of the best days in weeks. But, I know that everyone in New Orleans is having a HORRIBLE day, thanks to Katrina....But right now, I don't think they are able to talk about it. (So Much Water! )

I had a bit of a bummer this afternoon. I thought I'd finished early. All my collections and deliveries where done and I'd be back home by 3.00. What I didn't count on was someone using my lorry as a stopping point for their car. Yes, on the M1 a car spun and whacked into my back wheel. Fortunatly the driver was unhurt, his car was a little written off, but he was unhurt. I ended up with a split wheel and waited for hour and a half before I got underway again. Isn't it typical, you think yeah and then something comes along and puts a downer on you. Oh well.

Poor Mycernius, Im glad you and the other driver are both ok, and hopefully your lorry hasnt been damaged too much.
Well you can look forward to the rest of the day now, relax with a nice cold beer, and forget about it for a bit.
