1) 良さ is a noun form of 良い, and it can be glossed as "goodness", although here it's more like "good things". "Cities have their good parts, and the countryside has its good parts."

2) 倒れそうになる means "to be about to fall over". When そうになる is attached to the masu stem of a verb, it means "be about to".
急に is an adverb meaning "suddenly". The speaker is asking the people in front of them to let them sit down.
You seem to be having problems with particles. 前にいた人に頼んで... not 前にいた人が頼んで...

What you are doing here is just to GUESS the meaning only from the words you know. It's not TRANSLATING. For instance, （物）忘れが shows that （物）忘れ is a noun and not a verb, nevertheless you interprited it "want to forget". Where is "want" from? You interpreted せいか correctly, but 年 has another meaning. Check a dictionary, as nekojita-san adviced you in another thread.

寂しい must be a typo of 厳しい.
