I am attempting to learn a John Denver song, by utilizing phoentic translations of the following verse, into Japanese:

"Sparrows find freedom beholding the sun;
In the infinite beauty we're all joined in one.
I reach out before me and look to the sky;
Did I hear someone whisper? Did something pass by?"

Could I beg some help here?

To me, it isn't clear what you're asking for. Do you want someone to phonetically transliterate the verse into Japanese kana, like スパローズ・ファインド・・・? (Don't rely on that fragment... you'd need to get one of the experts here to do it. I'm just wondering if no one's replied because no one understands the question.)

I want to learn the Japanese lyrics, phonetically, to sing them, as do John Denver & Kosetsu Minami, in their video, on Youtube.

Thanks but apparently, I'm not making myself clear: I am an native English speaker with NO formal knowledge of Japanese. As such I WANT to sing the Japanese lyrics, as John did, phonetically.

Hopefully, that will make things clearer!

The Japanese lyrics part is not an exact translation of the English lyrics part, i.e., the verse you quoted. It's made from gathered pieces/images of the original English lyrics. Even so, you need the Japanese lyrics "subete o idaku taiyou no hi wa" or like that?

Now we're getting somewhere! I'd like phonetic words, in English, representing the Japanese words, as accurately as JD did in the video with the Japanese singer.

I see. It's better to post what you wrote in your last post at the first place instead of quoting the verse.;-)
Incidentally, this method of writing is called ROMAJI.

I'm curious to know what end your such lyrics will serve.

Not sure why it would mystify: I am a folk singer and the message of the song is a beautiful and universal one. I like stretching my boundaries, and learning this in Japanese will help me do that!
