I've always wanted an event like in some movies. Some powerful space alien ship shows up and says no more wars & killing or suffer the consequences of their powerful weapons. Maybe some kind of ray weapon that destroys every type of weapon on earth. Seems unless something drastic like that happens , we will always have wars.

That would be something. But I think it's just in our nature as human beings to disagree and fight about things. Even if there's nothing obvious to fight about, give us time; people will inevitably find something they will deem worth fighting over.

I can't find any evidence that the UN used the word 'genocide' and I think it's highly unlikely that they'd use such an emotive word in this situation.
The quote below is taken from the UN website and is a view I agree with. I was also very disappointed with Israel's hysterical reaction to it, saying that they would 'teach the UN a lesson'. As an aside, I'm half-Jewish and have relatives in Israel.
Addressing Tuesday's debate in the Council on the worsening crisis in Israel and Palestine, the UN chief said that although nothing could justify the "appalling" attacks by Hamas of 7 October which triggered the siege and bombardment of Gaza, it was important to recognize they "did not happen in a vacuum" and did not justify the collective punishment of Palestinians.

The Secretary General of the United Nations and other officials of the International Organization declared repeatedly that a "human disaster" (Human Tragedy) is happening in Gaza because of the hard bombardment of Israel with the developed bombs with high explosions and destruction against Gaza civilians, under the cover of fighting with Hamas!
Can we call this mass killing of people of Gaza "fight with Hamas", or it is the same massacre of Gaza civilians that do Israelis !?

You do know your country supplies Hamas and most terrorists with the weapons they kill innocents with. If there is a world war three , Iran will either be the cause of it or in the thick of it. Probably all the propaganda your country puts out doesn't mention that. It used to be China & Russia led the world in suppling arms and weapons , but it seems Iran is now one of the top supporters of terror groups. Not just the US , but almost all non-communist countries Iran is a major problem. By far , the US is not innocent in the deaths it causes and I'm not alright with what my government does .If you allow Hamas to live with you and operate their attacks from your backyard , then when retaliation bites you on the *** , don't whine about it , work at getting Hamas out of your country. If you kept a vicious dog that attacked and killed people and you refused to stop it from killing , wouldn't it be fair to jail or punish you for not stopping it?

Hamas is a part of Palestinian army who fight with Israeli army to free their land from those occupants.
Although we essentially support the weak and oppressed peoples, but the strategy and military operations of the Palestinian defenders is independent and is not relative to Iran. They know how to defend their land to take it back.
Iran doesn't interfere in such operations, though has offered them the experiences of the eight years war of Iran against the Iraqi monster, Saddam.
However, we discussed, why Israel is killing Gaza civilians deliberately, under cover of fight with Hamas.

The premise that Israel is killing civilians deliberately is not an undisputed fact. Probably you can say they are killing civilians indiscriminately in their effort to root out Hamas which deliberately hides their operations behind civilians. I guess Israel thinks it's a way to punish and weaken Hamas and the Palestinian resistance. And maybe they hope civilians will stop letting Hamas operate in their midst. It's in Hamas' interest for Palestinian civilians to get killed like this because they are not seeking peace. Unfortunately Israel has fallen into their trap.

The funding of Hamas by Iran is very widely reported as a fact by respected Western media organisations. If you wish to ignore that, arguing that they're Western so inevitably biased, then that's fine, but I dispute your claim that Iran is not interfering.
Here's a good analysis of the diplomacy/regional rivalries written just after the Hamas terrorist attack, which describes some of the regional rivalries.

Iran wants to make it impossible for Saudi Arabia to strike deal with Israel, while others in region cannot afford mayhem in Gaza
As an aside, I'm impressed with the even-handed coverage of the situation on Japanese TV - and it's not often I praise Japan's media!

Depends if you consider selling or donating arms as "interfering." By that measure, the U.S. is heavily interfering in Ukraine.

Respectfully, some nested and assembled philosophies that are not relevant to the full story (the picture) I told!
The world is waiting for a convincing answer, why Israelis have targeted the people of Gaza so barbarism that a large number of victims are the Palestinian children.
How can we forgive ourselves ignoring these tragic scenes? Or how do we expect to answer the interrogation of God in doomsday, who will ask us, what was your feeling and reaction against the oppressors like Israelis and the oppressed creatures like these shelterless Gaza children?
.
Our humanity and following human rights necessitate that we condemn Israel due to the crimes, and force that werewolves occupant regime to stop such massacre and genocide.

@Mansoor, sadly, what's happening now in Gaza is EXACTLY what Hamas (not the Palestinian people) and the Iranian regime (probably not the Iranian people) want. A disingenuous and vicious plan conceived by Hamas leaders willing to sacrifice their own population while enjoying comfortable lives in Qatar.

Also, look at the tearful Gaza kids, who were taken out from the ruined houses. Don't their screams and crying for help burn your heart and make you regretful? So, aren't Israelis deserve for curse because of their historical felonies?

Today, one of the presidents of the United Nations resigned. He expressed, his resign is because of inability of UN to stop Israelis killing mass of the innocent people of Gaza. He accurately called the demoniacal attacks of Israelis to civilians of Gaza, "Genocide".
The majority of the UN members have the same opinion and interpret the fiendish bombardment and artillery fire of Israelis on people of Gaza, war crime and Genocide.

Mansoor - you're right. He did use the word, and probably most UN members feel the same. I feel nothing but sadness and horror for the indiscriminate killing of civilians in Gaza.
However, as far as I can tell, the UN have not used the word 'genocide' in a collective statement. I'm just trying to keep things accurate.
