Okay here's one for you. I'm off to Japan next week for a month for my language course. I have a set of sentences I feel I may well need. I am going to have trouble kneeling while I'm there as two weeks ago I fell off a ladder and have injured my knees and lower legs which makes it quite painful to kneel and the like. Anyone have any idea how I can convey this in Japanese as my attempts have been pretty futile so far.

If you can't read Japanese yet I'll make it in romaji or kana. This should be more than sufficient. Get well soon ! :)

跪くことができません。二週間前に、はしごから落ちて 、ひざ、足を怪我したから。

I prefer the reverse order, but that looks good to me. Of course, I suppose it depends on the situation. If you're just giving someone information the explanation should come first, I think, but if they ask you to kneel then the way Elizabeth wrote it is probably more appropriate.

Thank you for that. Unfortunately my kanji skills aren't quite up to that as yet. I can make out some of it, but not all. Could you maybe, please, pretty please, supply a kana version of it? Romaji isn't necessary. I appreciate it though.
