Choke has the same meaning as strangle which if you don't know means to grab a persons neck and put pressure on it so they stop breathing.

I think the quaint point of the question is (after many hours of hair-pulling deep tought) since smurf is already blue, would there be any change if it's choked ?

Your positive participation would be more than welcome. Despite I couldn't afford to take any Search Engine Optimization measure when launching the blog, I've been seeing an explosion in the traffic. And yet my audience has remained lurkers, by and large.

I often find the soul lift in a great piece of writing, a positive, gentle helping out, or just simple, smart humour.

I'm really not sure what it is about the critical age of 28, but what do I know about women ?

28 is just an empirical rule. When they crossed the threshold, 99% of Japanese broads are "institutionalized" into the men-dominated society. And as you know, Japanese men are like a bunch of Pithecanthropus.
BTW: Are you just staying up all night, or it's in the daytime?

:? I even didn't know a smurf is blue. So the color of my smurf will remain unchanged. The older you grow, the harder you find it to change.

Thank you for the welcome. I have read the "taboo-free" mission statement, and I think the kind of direct, critical, analytical, and dialectal approach that you seem to favor have much to offer to the topics you discuss. I would expect myself to study the subject to some depth before posting something there. I think having an audience reading the information comes first, and a discussion comes second, because I believe most of the thinking happens during the reading. Once the discussion opens up, a thinking process seems to follow its own path in vastly different ways; exciting yet different.

After I reached 40, I've lost count on age mostly because I can't really tell the difference between an elementary schooler and a high schooler; between someone in their twenties and someone in their 30's. They are all younger than me. I even have a hard time telling people my age. Hehe...

I'm nocturnal; I think I have some dracula blood flowing in my veins. I like to wander in the dark for reasons unclear to me. I don't crave for human blood though. I hope to balance out my pattern to a more daylight-oriented one. But on nights like this, with a number of interesting topcs going, I stick around to see what my forum buddies have to say on the various topics I'm interested in. They live all over the place in quite odd longitudes, I have no time for rest !

In the last 48 hours I kept introducing myself like hell. By now I feel as though I've emptied myself. What a shallow, and wordy, person I am!

Actually I've learned more from you nice, intelligent and funny guys (Lexico, Mars Man, Void, anchyyy, Nothingness, Kirei_na_me, tsuyoiko, Ma Cherie, etc., etc.) than the other way around. Let me thank all of you for educating me.

And I'm sorry if some of you found my un-PC remarks insulting.

Now I think it's about time to close this thread.

In the future we will most probably run into each other at other threads discussing specific issues with this uni-i-i-i-que culture. But in the meantime, do not hesitate to contact me via my blog (http://www.tokyofreepress.com/) whenever you feel like it.

I prefer your Neanderthal analogy. But recently Sinanthropeans (e.g., Hu Jintao) have started disturbing me even more. The CEO of the German software company I was working for up until recently once said I was too selfrighteous. But who cares?
