You should try to apply for a Monbusho scholarship at the Japanese Embassy in Malaysia.

Once you qualify, the Japanese Government will sponsor your studies and stay in Japan.

Good luck

Spring is really here in the center of Japan, the Japan Alps. From here, I wish you a big welcome to Jref !! I hope you will enjoy learning many things about Japan, Japanese, and other things here too, llilli san !!

Yes, if you could get something like a scholarship, it would be great. There may be some other ways too, but I just don't know of them. At the university where I teach, we have had two students from Malaysia, and at the moment have some 4 from Mongolia, 12 or so from China, one from Sri Lank, and another one coming later on from Malaysia--and maybe two who I don't know where they are from...oh and one girl from Myanmar.

I hope to hear from you sometimes, and please do enjoy all the forum !! See you 'round !!🙂

There are also exchange student programs but they don't cover the living cost (ie you'll have to find a job and so)
