Rikaichan: Built-In Kanji Reader and Translator

I use Rikaichan (I'd die without it), and I wanted to share the love with anyone who doesn't have it. It's been great for me and has helped me learn and translate a lot of what I'd otherwise not understand. It shows the kana for kanji just by scrolling over it, as well as giving the translation for just about any word. This version is for Firefox, but I've heard they have one for Explorer... but I can't vouch for that.

I hope it helps you as much as it's helped me... it changes pages that were well beyond my level into pages that just take a little time to translate the grammar stuff. Because I only know like 300 kanji, this certainly makes life easy on me. And because of it, I've learned how to read some kanji that I didn't even recognize before!

Thanks for the info. I'm interested in what features rikaichan is offering. I'll check it out.
I just finished something similar, rikai on a browser toolbar. It's at our website Nipponster (at the bottom right), if you want to play with it.

It has:
-Rikai (just enter the site url into the search box and click rikai)
-a funtion that let's you use the Jim Breen Japanese Dictionary from anywhere on the web
-live Japanese internet radio and tv broadcasts
-Japanese language audio lessons/ language lesson radio station
-Metropolis magazine podcasts (updates about what is happening in Tokyo every week)
-flash cards for kana and over 2,000 kanji
-and a function to search our new Japan-related search engine, Nipponster

I would also say that the Rikaichan extention for Firefox is amazingly helpful, and I am very glad I heard about it(though it does sometimes crash my browser ^^').
