Requesting Help Translating Kanji

Hello,

I would like to request help translating the kanji on the tang from a Japanese sword. There are kanji only on one side of the tang. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

That's a male name 酒向兼茂 Sakō(surname) Kaneshige(given name). Seems to be a swordsmith in Seki around 1940's.
