Regarding "て+もらう"

Hello there everyone

In a text I'm reading, I found an expression that still bothers me when used in a more complex way, its about the expression "te + morau"
In a certain quote:

担当した気象予報士の本田竜也さんは「気温と関係が深い桜の開花から、環境について考えてもらおうと思いました」と話します.

the bold part seems strangely ordered to me, a possible mistake of the writer.

"環境について考えてもらおうと思いました"

I know that volitive form + to omou, represents something that was being considered, but, why the use of morau in this clause?

Does the speaker wants to say that " Because of the deep relation between temperature and the bloom of cherrytrees, I was thinking of (receiving) a concern about the environment"?

I'm not sure if in this cause morau stands for an abstract notion, or literally receiving/taking something.

Any help is appreciated

I think te moraoo to omoimashita is a polite way of expressing te moraimasu.
The name-san guy tell that the nature event effects his way of thinking about the environment, so that's the subject, not the ''speaker'', I think

Oh,

This changes things a bit, this Tatsuya-san says that "the deep relation between temperature and blooming of sakuras gave him a concern towards environment"

With no special meaning to "te+moraou to omoimasu"

is it right?

10 （補助動詞）動詞の連用形に接続助詞「て」を添えた形に付いて用いる。

環境について考えてもらおうと思いました。
I(= 本田竜也) was going to have people/audience/readers think about the environment.

から means "from" there.

Audience/people/readers is hidden in this "morau" ? As if he wanted to "receive the concern of viewers, about the environment" ?

I would never reach such a conclusion by myself adding the "audience" to the sentence.

～てもらう is more close to "to ask one to do" in a polite way in this case.
He explains the reason why he or the company 二一一〇年までの開花予測をした.

From the context, especially 気象予報士. I thought it's about a weather report in a TV news or something.

The speaker CAN'T be the causee / actual doer (the one who thinks about the environment in this case) in the structure ～てもらう. You need to interpret who the one is from the context.

Hum, I see, maybe I'm letting my questions block my overall text comprehension.
