Hi guys. Could any of you guys tell me - what brands of J-phones are available in the U.S? I know that Samsung is Korean - and Motorola and stuff are American - but what about the other types? Is Nokia Japanese? What about Sanyo? Are there any other types?

Thanks. ^^

Mitsubishi, Kyocera, Sanyo, Panasonic, etc.

Another Japanese cell-phone that isn't availble in the US is DoCoMO's Fuma line! It's a shame too, cause they certainly look very sleek and from what I'm hearing they are leading the way for the 4G phones in the near future. Their 3G phones are amazing, and about 5-10 years ahead of the North American market!

Thanks guys, I am sure that the one BigBossIchi mentioned would be a pain to import. So the most popular Japanese phone here is Sanyo?

Nokia's Finnish.

Kyocera seems to be the most common brand of Japanese phone here, if I'm not imagining things.

Kyocera

I think Kyocera isn't japanese, It might be from Europe. That is what I think...Corect me if I'm wrong though. But ne-ways, can you explain 4G technology. It sounds kinda kool.

:sorry: Sorry, I forget to breath sometimes :sorry:

Yes, that's true.. Nokia's Finnish. It has a bit of a Japanese name however.
