1 Your Colleagues invite you out to dinner. You should:
a Never pour your companion's drink. You could if the staff would let you use the beer tap, if not you are stuck with the waiter/waitress.
b Never slurp while eating your noodles or soup. That is a good one to remember, if your colleges are foreign, of corse.
c Never stick the chopsticks into the food. If they invited you to a funeral, go for it!
d Never take off your shoes. Depends on the restaurant if you can or can't.

2 The use of business cards follows some stict rules in Japan. Which one is true?
a You need to bring only one or two business cards with you to a meeting. If there are only going to be 1 or 2 people there, why not!
b You need a business card in Japanese only. This is Japan, right?
c You need to present or give business card with both hands. Ignore this one, it is discriminating against people with only one hand.
d You need a bilingual card and you should hold the English side up. You should really try and fit at least 3 languages on a business card, just to be safe.


3 What do the japanese find most important when hiring new employees:
a The quality of one's education. Deffinately!
b The special skills one possesses.Absolutely!
c The experience one has gained. Most certainly!
d The international exposure one has had. This would have to be the most important, the job description did say "Hiring the most internationaly experienced person." right?
