(I'd guess the former ) I think this is probably what you're looking for: ゆきち 【諭吉】 俗に,1 万円(札)のこと。ユキチ。 It says that it's a slang term for a 10,000 yen note. (In case anyone's interested, I found it on goo.ne.jp using the kokugo jiten)
