anywho... i dont think it deserves to be in the same thread as everyone's masterpieces but this was just a quick sketch of kamijo that i did this weekend

 
omg Kaine, I thought you said your work wasn't good? That's really nice! It's really got the Kamijo-ness... and I love the hand...

Well, I've nearly finished the Uruha drawing I started, so I thought I'd post it just so's you'd know I really am working on it and not just using it as an excuse not to draw Shinya-with-braids (or any of the many other things I said I wanted to draw aaaaages ago ><)... but I don't have a scanner so I had to photograph it... and it comes out differently with flash or without (I used natural lighting as much as I could get it)... anyway, so here are both versions of photo it looks crap on both of these though...

GOODNESS KINSAO!!! that is one hot hot drawing of uraha! i love how you did his eyes and mouth and hair and god... everything is wonderful =D
 
I like the one with the flash. It makes the entire picture look kinda icy, I guess.
I actually recently finished a picture of Aoi and a picture of Izumi.

Please excuse the line through Izumi's forehead. The original is too big for my scanner so I had to scan it in two parts and patch them together.
 
Mmmm they are really good! (I wouldn't have noticed the line... )
I like the Izumi one best, I'm not sure why, just the atmosphere, I think... and I like the way you drew his kimono.

Thanks Kaine... to get the pale hairs going over the eye and mouth I actually used a scalpel to take the paper surface off because an eraser isn't fine enough.

There are so many things I want to draw and paint, and I really would like to do something more creative soon instead of just copying from photos. But I made a determination to draw Shinya with braids as PK has got me feeling competitive!

Am thinking of making 'polished', possibly coloured, fanart of him eventually. Am also thinking this will properly establish me as scary fanboy with too much time on his hands. Not that I have too much time, but still.

@Kaine: sexy sexy sexy! I love the hand... I hate drawing hands. You have a really interesting style... so sexy. XD

@Kinsao: Perhaps what you need is an electric eraser. They are small, usually battery powered sometimes electrical. I always use one for hair. They are usually around $30 for a decent one. Refills are dirt cheap, too. Scraping paper can turn out not so good.

And we've been over it before... my Shinya will kick your Shinya's ***.... ANYDAY! Bring it... my Shinya's ready! :box:

I just got my Mizu yume miru chouchou single and my scanner was incredibly nice so I got a good scan to print out of the cover of it all nice and big... I can't wait to get started on it

Just finnished this today at school^^ First time I have seriously worked with airbrush^^ hope you all see who it's supposed to be^^ please come with critique! I need it for improvement! ^^

I never worked with an airbrush in my life... I always wanted to have a try! XD

As far as constructive criticism... I really like it... maybe on the eye, it could have more of a sense of the actual texture/pattern of iris, and the light reflecting off it...?

Oh and thanks for the tip about the eraser, PK!

i need a compy with all those cool programs so i can make my fanarts look good....hehhe....
well, it's a shame to put this work of mine in this beautiful thread but oh well...it's been so long i haven't drawn and i finally did it a month ago!

hehehe...i think i still have somewhat called talent in me....
my sister scanned it pretty bad...
