PM count not resetting after read & close

After reading a PM, the counter is supposed do decrease, right?
And normally, I shouldn't keep getting notices for the same PM?

My problem: If I reply right away, nothing unusual happens, I think. But if I defer that, I keep getting the same notification repeatedly. The UNREAD PM stat doesn't go down either (or is unstable, sometime 0, sometime some number). How can I make this go away?

after youve finished reading it are you hitting "back" in your browser? if so then youre going back to a page when you hadnt read the message, which will trigger the pop-up in the code for the page and also messes with the counter. i say after youre done just go forward and you shouldnt have a problem.

New Poll is invisible from <History & Traditions>

Today 12-31, I posted a poll "Rickshaw:When, Where, Who?" in <history & tradition> using the "new thread" button on the top-left of the list.

But when I came back to <history & tradition>, it's not listed.
It's there somewhere, but I'm having trouble finding it.

The only way I can get to the poll is from the forum_main list (being a new thread, it shows), or using my id lexico. I'm afraid I used the wrong "new thread" button.

Can you please move this poll so it shows?


I'm having another problem: I revised the original post (the intro, with 1 photo> 5 photos), but I keep getting the old post (1 photo) before revision? How can I get it to work right?
