? Really? Well, like I said before, when I speak English my voice is normal, when I speak Japanese, it tends to get higher... Is that why? Maybe cause my pronounciation stinks ^^;; I'm also starting to study Norwegian as my 2nd "main" language to learn, and when I speak Norwegian, my voice either stays the same or gets lower... I want to hear your Japanese! Make one!! ^^

Actually, I didn't think there was much change at all between Tomii's English and Japanese voice. Well, except for the fast version, that is!
 

Yeah It does sound higher. I think my voice also raises a lil but i am aware of it so I try to sound as normal as possible.

I often have a problem with switching from English to Japanese. When talking to my parents I often mix them both but I seem to stick to either accent (usually English), so it comes out sounding very strange. This leads me to wonder if any of you guys (especially Tomii, with 3 languages!) have the same problem?
 

Tomii-kun has been studying more languages! Like, Vietnamese, Korean, and maybe more! Sugoi ne!

So who is going to update his/her voiceblog now? Or is any new person ready to get his/her voiceblog? Damicci-san, maybe it's you, yeah?
 
Oh... Well, one time I did, and I started laughing ^^;; I ment to say ow because I hit my leg really hard on a chair but instead i screamed, "aiiiiiii" haha, People stared at me XD

BTW: I'm learning Japanese, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Vietnamese, Spanish, Korean, and Icelandic.

Now I really want to hear how you sound like!! In Japanese, English, Japanese-English and English-Japanese.. That's actually a good idea!! Next time I'll pronounce my Japanese in a really really Dutch fashion. And Dutch with a Japanese accent of course.
 
I've been behind the eight ball these last few weeks, but have a bit of an open patch of blue sky this week. I'll try to catch up on the reading (and more than anything else, the listening) and get back soon enough. Your Japanese was great there leonmarino san !!! MM

Some of us use ﾆ単ﾆ陳哉陳哉丹 but it's a site entirely in Japanese as far as I know.. Is that a problem? I'm sure there are tons of this kind of sites around on the net.

Furthermore, I would suggest people download Audacity as recording software, and don't forget to download the MP3-encoder plug-in.

If you got more questions, don't hesitate to ask!!
 
yeah, I'm hoping to soon post a blog in Norwegian (but my pronounciation sucks very badly.... as told by a norwegian native... ^^;; hahaha) and in Japanese... The Japanese might be harder, yet easier... I know more Japanese than Norwegian, but what I'm thinking might be harder to say but easy to pronounce(most of the time), whereas norwegian is very hard to pronounce, yet the words and word order is similar, as long as i know the words and blah blah blahhhh!

Tomii-kun, just remember you don't always have to be perfect. We are all looking forward to hearing your Norwegian and Japanese, and of course, English too.

What I'm planning to record next time is something like イントロあてクイズ.
When I was reading the thread "けりおきー" this idea of humming or singing the intro or the most catchy parts of the songs I usually sing at Karaoke just came up to me. It will probably take a while or maybe I will change my mind, or maybe will end up doing nothing, but don't you think it will be kinda fun to?

All I could tell was you were speaking English.
Um, what did you say, they had what meeting? And what are the words after "nuclear" and "very" where you repeated? T_T

Oh, but if the sentence didn't start with "President Bush...", I might have thought the same, as I got totally lost right after "President Bush and". ^^;

It may be a bit difficult because it's a news article. I'm not sure how much news you read in English. By they way, does that help at all? That's what you were asking about, right?
