Paybook 1905 russo-japanese war

Hello.

It is very interesting for me the Russo-japanese war, and always that I can, I bought items from this historical period.
In this occasion I have bought this paybook from 1905:

I think this soldier did not take part in any battle. I think he was a soldier hooked on supplies and logistics, but, of couse, not sure about all of this.
In the last page I can translate the words "Mukden (at the end of the first row of the last pic" and "Liaoyang ( 遼陽 )".
Besides that, I think this soldier was hospitalized, but I don't know why.

Any extra information will be welcome.

The reason why he was in hospital is not written. Those are mostly just "when arrived a place" and "when left there".
