One year with the SWEETEST Japanese girl

Hey all!

I have just passed one year with the sweetest girl in the world. Best girlfriend I've had in my life.

She happens to be Japanese, and I happen to be an American working and living in Japan.

I was wondering what can I do that is really nice for a Japanese beauty. Flowers are something the American girls like, but I don't see that in Japan (i.e. flowers at work make all the other girls at her office crazy and she feels loved).

What is a really sweet thing I can do for her. I am head over heels for her, and want her to feel special in every way.

Any ideas??

Again, she is an individual, and you know her better than any of us (I assume). We cannot give you any advice based just on the fact she is Japanese.

Come on, hell loads of items that are present in every culture as acceptable gifts. Watches, letter openers, jewelry, perfume. Heaps of people want to buy beautiful girls overpriced presents, industries are built upon exploiting this, so surely, you can find something.

For example, I would love a nice steak ^^ nomnom because I have no use for flowers
But that probably wouldnt go over as well with other people

LoL, congrats dude. Well, I would give her something simple but something that means the most to her. Surely over the year you've gotten to know her there must be something that you found out she takes a liking to. So for whatever that is, I say go for it. Always something from your memory that means a lot to you. I think that'll work just fine

I think an item of jewellery like a necklace or something is nice. Mostly cos it lasts for ever and always has a 'use'.
Or if she isn't wear jewellery, well there is anything, like perfume, latest technology of something she doesn't have already, or whatever, or even you can buy an 'experience' if she likes to be active rather than having 'useless' gifts
