I still get the "UPLOAD OF FILE FAILED" message? I tried several animated and non-animated avatars without any luck?

Maybe it's a setting on my PC that is wrong? I'll keep trying everyday.

Just an update to let you know that I've copied the avatar thomas is using and tried to upload it as mine.

No luck. I was told again "You may not upload animated images."
