If you happen to have communication with the software creators, could you ask them to put customizable date formats in the next version? The European format used here really stresses my brain. (I personally prefer yyyy-mm-dd). Other forums allow date format customization but I guess they must be using different software.
Or a Japanese format with the year,month,day kanji symbols would be cool...
