Need help translating this message

what does it mean? i've found the translations but couldn't make any sense...
so can someone help? thks in advance...

Just a note that you have "I want to do it, so..." in your translation, but if it were that, you'd have to have "shitai kara" (or something along those lines).

Yeah, vocabulary isn't my strong suit. That makes a lot more sense.

At first I had "I have to do what I want to do," and then I thought that I should have the "so" or "because" in there. I realized that I had to be careful where I put it, but I still put it in the wrong place. Of course, it would have been a lot easier if I had known the word 支度 in the first place. Oh well.
