The mark which represents a kana/kanji is not 0 "zero" but 〇 "maru", i.e., "circle". It's called 丸 or 丸印, and you can input the mark by typing "まる" and changing it by IME.Hi, I have a problem figuring out the meaning of that small down to the left: バOス. If I'm not mistaken, the O/zero character is used to conceal one katakana syllable. But unfortunately I cannot figure out what that missing syllable nor the whole word might be. Anyone has any idea?
Thank you so muchYes, the kanji 白 means "white". The hiragana しろ indeed can mean "castle" or the imperative form of "to do", but the kanji for the former is 城, and the latter is not written in kanji. The meaning is provided by kanji (and also the context), so 白 is the correct kanji for "white".
"Shiro" is popular as a dog's name also in Japan. Good name.
