I understand that the intention is "well, that's according to him...", but what role does 分 play here? I realize it's supposed to depict "extent", but it somehow just doesn't click. What if we remove 分? How does the nuance change?

Does this simply become a preface then? Like 彼が思うに～?
How would you translate:
1) いや、それは、自分で言う分には...。
2)いや、それは、自分で言うには...。

I've tried googling this construction and came up with this example:

身内の悪口は自分で言う分にはいいが 他人に言われると無条件に頭にくるもんだと思う。

If we remove 分 here it looks like the meaning changes from, "as long as I'm the one badmouthing relatives myself, it's OK..." to "according to what I say, badmouthing relatives is OK..."
Does the nuance really change this way? Is my interpretation correct?

いくらでも言える or something like that is omitted after いや それは 自分で言う分には. 自分で言う（の）ならいくらでも言える makes more sense, maybe?

Yeah, it makes sense now. I just newer knew 分 had this kind of usage. Didn't really run into it up until today. Thank you.

For the record, the official translation that was provided was: "Well, if he doesn't, nobody else will..."
 
By the way, I forgot to ask. Since my provided sentence and the dictionary example, both use the same ～分には structure - is this a set phrase? Is there a situation when this kind of usage of 分 is utilized with different particles? Or is it always used with には？
 
I can't figure out what does 貴殿は the subject for? For 背負って生きている and the subject for という is omitted -「貴殿は神殺しという業を、貴殿は背負って生きているという。」?

最後に、一つだけ聞かせてくれ
神殺しという業を、貴殿は背負って生きているという。何故そこまでして生き続けたい？
 
Hmm, I can't think of any other examples than 分には in that meaning.

Yes, 貴殿 is the subject of 背負って and 生きている.
The subject of the second いう can be both 貴殿 and "people in general" ("They say" in English).
 
"彼の実家で生活してもらっており"
Can't figure out how to translate 「生活してもらっており」here. If I'm guessing right it's basically 生活する(to live)>生活してもらう(make someone live)>生活してもらっておりる(someone makes the subject live) but "I was made live in his house" or "He let me live in his house" doesn't feel right.
 

You're misreading the subject. The person living in 彼の実家 isn't the speaker. The speaker is having someone else live in 彼の実家. For it to be the speaker して would need to be させて

Still I don't get what difference 「おりる」makes. Does it make the sentence sound more.. "humble"?

It would be helpful if you would say what part you want. It would be nice if you had bothered to take the photo straight. What is it and why do you need it?

You need just the kanji? Or can you also not recognize the kana?

EDIT:

Is this a script for the sub-channel narration to an anime? It just describes what characters on the screen are doing. A narration for the visually impaired sort of thing.

I have a question about 窮屈に思うこともある part, does it(especially こともある) implies that there are will be(not now, but later when the character get in touch with those teachers and all those rules) times when she will feel discouraged(unease), because of school rules?

「今まで公立高校に通っていたあなたには、この学園の教育方針や規則、先生がたの態度など、かなり厳しく感じられるかもしれません。窮屈に思うこともあるでしょうけど、その点は十分に覚悟しておいてくださいね」
