好きな人 already shows it. I mean, in what context are those sentences used? There must be a story behind it, since it's a response to someone's words. Who is the writer? Did she(I presume the writer is a girl/woman) send it to you as her advice to your question of what you should do, for instance?

While I appreciate that you may not want to be forthcoming if this is personal correspondence (as opposed to a quote from a novel), Japanese is a very context-sensitive language. If you won't give any background to the conversation - ie, the relationship between the writer and the receiver, any third parties that might be under discussion, the question that prompted the written answer - there no way to accurately translate what you're asking about.

You don't have to give any names - Aさん、 Bさん and so on are fine, and you're here under a pseudonym anyway. Nobody will know -who- is actually involved unless you decide to disclose it, but if you don't disclosed the relationships in a generic sense, translating is impossible.

I only say this now so that you understand that it's not just Toritoribe先生 asking for his own reasons, it's inherent to the language, and Toritoribe先生 is a native speaker of the language who is tireless in his efforts to help us learners understand it.

Alright, alright. The history behind it is is that I'm trying to confess my attraction to someone. But I don't know how to say 'I like you' in Japanese. Therefore, I asked my host sister who I had stayed with for a few weeks. She couldn't speak much English. One thing led to another and I think she misinterpreted the conversation and thought that I was confessing to HER rather than the girl I like. Then, she sent me this.

No need to worry. Your host sister understands the situation correctly. She said "You have the one you love in Toyama Daiichi (High School, presumably), right? It's OK to say 私はあなたを愛している". Although I don't think 私はあなたを愛している is commonly used as a confession of love in Japanese. nameのことが好きだ / 好きなんだ is more common, as Chris-san wrote.

初めてでござるな. This gives off the vibe of "This is my first time being in Tokyo. ( the person saying it is referring to their first time being in Tokyo, which was said a bit earlier) . But the な doesn't make this sentence negative? The translation is also not negative.
 
な can be one of a few things.

The "negative" な is a strong prohibition, i.e. 行くな = don't go.
Not to be confused with the な that is like a short form of なさい, e.g. don't mix up 行くな and 行きな.
As a sentence ending particle it can also be a sort of light emphasis or seeking agreement from the speaker, or something like なあ
 
What is the order of the mails? Who is the writer of each line? What is the whole conversation? For instance, it's obvious you had said something before she replied わかってます. What is it?
 
For this sentence:
"私は梶井息吹 こっちは父親の五次郎"
I know that it translates to "I'm Kajii Ibuki, here's my father(?), Gojirou"

I'm not sure whether 父親 means dad as in biologically, or a husband.
The person saying this sentence is a pregnant women.

It does not appear that your host sister misinterpreted anything you said although she doesn't seem to be able to give you much advice.

Better to say 富山第一高校に好きな子がいます。 or 好きな子ができました。

Btw you can't use あります for animate objects.
 
Agreed. SHE has been understanding the situation correctly throughout the conversation. THE OP misinterpreted her words.
I think he wants to know what he should say to the girl, not how to express that he has the one he loves. She already gave an answer 私はあなたを愛している, but he was not able to understand it. She thought he was confusing, so she confirmed it in the last line; "I know the situation. What should I teach you? / What do you want to know?".


He is her dad. If the topic she is talking about now is her child (e.g. この子の名前は梶井太郎。私は息吹で、こっちは父親の五次郎。), 父親 means "the child's dad", i.e., "her husband", but the topic is herself, so it means "her dad".
 
Some friends asked me to translate some Yu-Gi-Oh card. Good practice I say so I attempted.

Also a question:

1. What exactly is "破壊され..." I think I have seen the "masu stem" used to continue sentences before but why might that be different to されて...and the te form which I'm sure does the same thing.

2. I know "宣言する" is not passive although I translated it as such because I do not know who is meant to be declaring and whos card is meant to be "the card." I think this would be obvious if you know the rules of the game and I'm not sure whether it's me being mistaken or just context.

アンデッド族 seems to be translated just "Undead".
The subject of 特殊召喚される is このカード; This card is Special Summoned.
フィールド上に means "on the field". 上 doesn't modify フィールド.

1)
The meaning is the same. The -te form sounds a bit colloquial than the -masu stem. (Therefore -the masu stem is preferred in a certain type of sentences such like "explanation", as in the example.)

2)
The subject is the player. The next sentence 相手はデッキからその種類のカード１枚を選択して墓地に送る。 reinforces it.
カードの種類 means "a card type" here.

The context is a mom is talking to her daughter. She quotes something the daughter previously said to her. After the quoted sentence, she says this.

I think it says something like "That's what you said, right?" or "You said something like that, right?". Am I close?
 
The latter is close, but that's the last half of a sentence, not a complete sentence. The preceding clause, i.e., what you thought the quoted sentence is actually the first half of the sentence.

1. What does the SFX in the following link mean?

The context is some heroes are talking to the press. I think it means either 'cheering' or 'chatter,' but I'm not sure.

2. What does this small sentence say in English?

The context is that the mom is giving her daughters a bag when she says this. I think it says "Oh, here's this." Or "Oh, here's these." The bag contains two teacups.

ワァァ in that context is probably like the crowd going 'Ooooh' as if they were impressed.

Without conversational context, 2 is uncertain, but most likely means, "That's right. This is it."
(Or more in keeping with the curt tone, "Yeah. This.") そうだ is in any case verbal confirmation in response to something said.
 
Hello, this sentence comes from a manga by Berserk's author. I understand the gist of it, but I'm having trouble coming up with a proper translation, especially concerning the オチ part.

甘いな。さんざんもて遊ばれたあげく殺されるのがオチだ。

This is said by a guy who just saved a woman offering herself in exchange for something she was obviously not going to get.
