The whole sentence-and I need it asap especially the second part- I understand its s.th along the lines of "the egg-shaped face of a french (male) actor..."

Hi all!
I'm new here and need some help.
My dad was born in Japan when his dad (my Grandpa) was stationed there. The history there means a lot to my father and my dad is the person I look up to most in my life. I am looking to paint a picture with a dragon as the main focus and the mountains as a background. What I need help with is making sure I get the right translation for "Father" and "Family" so I don't look like a goober and screw it up. I've been reading quite a bit and it seems kanji is what I need to look into?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what is an OB, as in this headline? Is it a short form of an english word?

空手部指導で殴られ立腹、回し蹴りでＯＢ死なす

Here the same word is again 同大によると、高木さんは同部ＯＢで月１回程度、指導に訪れていたという。

It's from an article some days ago I think is about a 22-year old who got slapped by the 77-year old guest instructor at a university karate club and kicked him in the face with a roundkick so hard he died. Sad story.

Another newspaper related question. When police departments are giving statements the word 幹部 is frequently used. Like, after the patrolling officers arrested someone, the 幹部 will then give an official statement. What exactly does this refer to? Is it police chiefs/high ranking officers in person or is it a written report by a secretary to a department leader, or is it a spokesperson making these official statements on behalf of the leadership?
In this particular case, it was 幹部ら, making it more vague to me who these people are. Anyway, I interpret it as a press release which could both be written or made by a representative in person, like a telegram or a press conference thing, unspecified.

OB = "Old Boy"

An alumnus or retiree of the institution in question.

幹部 just refers to the people heading up the case and is not a specific title or rank.

No, I wasn't. I think it works a lot better in English than Japanese due to a larger phonemic inventory and a tendency for words to be fully absorbed into the language, and not appear foreign after a while. With Japanese they make sure that doesn't happen by using katakana or romaji. But maybe it works just fine from a Japanese perspective. But for me as a native English speaker it just looks like bad English.

I've googled for quite a while, but couldn't find out what this exactly means. Can anyone please help me?

This is from a short story I'm reading.
The context is, from what I can tell, that some Yakuza guy says this to a woman, after she seduced and provoked him. He then steals a kiss from her.

I've pretty sure it's an insult, but I can't find anything about this online.
Does this mean something like, "You dirty sl*t! Here I go (that's what you get)"?

～（ん）ぼ（う） is a suffix, meaning "a person of ~".
e.g.
あわてんぼう（慌てん坊）: scatterbrain
あばれんぼう（暴れん坊）: roughneck
あさねぼう（朝寝坊）: late riser

いやしい means "greedy" in this case.

The そうそう in this sentence isn't perfectly understood by me.

でも、そうそうは頼めないけどね。
やっぱり、悪いじゃない？

I'm guessing either this might be そうそう as in "not so much", "(well they're good) but you can't rely on them that much" etc...

Or possibly expressing speed, kind of something like "but, you can't expect their help just like that (can't rely on them immediately etc)". Although they are proving capable, they still have to travel to get there etc... Therefore not so reliable the exact moment you need them.

The former one "not so much/frequently/easily" is correct.

そうそう【然う然う】
［副］（あとに打消しの語や反語を伴って）そんなに。それほどに。「―遊んではいられない」「―うまいぐあいにいくものか」

然う然う（そうそう）の意味 - goo国語辞書

For the latter case, it should be そうそう（早々）には.

普通に暮らしてるはず。あのＥＤは改変で、あのままクーとフィリアを元の世界に戻すと元の世界の問題（三作目で回収予定）も起きるし、鈴音と暮らしてる元地上人ということにしました。

For reference, [クー], [フィリア], and [鈴音] are names.

Any help would be appreciated.

What's the context? What does the writer talking about? What does ED refer to? It's impossble to interpret the meaning without knowing these information.

Oh, sorry.

He's talking about a game, specifically, one of its multiple endings. So, ED would be ending. And [改変] is the name of the ending, I think.

The writer is the author of the game, right? He said that he revised the ending they were talking about by あのＥＤは改変で. あのままクーとフィリアを元の世界に戻すと元の世界の問題（三作目で回収予定）も起きるし is the reason why he revised, and （クーとフィリアを）鈴音と暮らしてる元地上人ということにしました expresses the contents of the revised result.
