Reading this, I'd interpret it as people losing sight of the future, with sadness flowing out and blurring vision.I have another question:
まっさらな未来にさえ 悲しみが零(こぼ)れ出して
こころを滲ませるから 誰もが立ち止まり見失ってしまうよ
Does "見失ってしまう" refer to the sadness or to oneself? In other words, do people lose sight of sadness or do they lose sight of themselves?
I think it means combinations of contrasting emotions, ie, 喜びと悲しみ and 温もりと憎しみAnd also:
重ね合った心の奥に
喜びと悲しみ 温もりと憎しみ
Does "重ね合った" refer to the hearts or to the emotions?
よろしくお願いします~
Oh, OK. I was thinking too straightforwardly.Reading this, I'd interpret it as people losing sight of the future, with sadness flowing out and blurring vision.
I think it means combinations of contrasting emotions, ie, 喜びと悲しみ and 温もりと憎しみ
Could you translate Nightingale to kanji I know the katakana version just not the kanji?
雨の場合はその試合は中止となる。Hello.
Can someone tell me how to make a distinction between "will be" and "might be"? Like in these:
If it rains the match will be stopped. (the rules forbid it so they have to stop it.)
雨の場合はその試合は中止となるかもしれません。if it rains the match might be stopped. (depends on how heavy rain and on referee's judgement, so no one knows in advance.)
"the potential form of a verb" + ように頑張ります: I'll try my best to be able to do something.もっとうまく見せられるように頑張ります。
Can someone please translate this sentence? I cannot figure it out. I know the words, I think. I just can't seem to piece the whole sentence together.
Thanks
Yes, you got that right.こんにちは。
評価のお言葉、もったいない位です。
いわゆるお仕事というのは、まだやった事はありませんが、
こちらで出来そうな事ならばやってみたいなと思っています。
なので、まずは詳しいお話だけでもお聞かせ願いたいです。
Can someone please help me translate that?
I managed to make out:
Something about too much praise.
And something about wanting to talk about more details
Never mind, translation has been handled, thanks for the help anyways
前向きな: positive/forward-looking(literally same as Japanese; 前向き or 前を向いている;-))1. She says "最近『龍馬伝』を見始めたばかりで(大河主演の)実感は全然無いですが、前向きな江を演じたい". I understand the first part to mean something like "I've just started watching Ryomaden and I still haven't realized that I'm starring in the next Taiga drama." But what does the last part mean? "I want to perform an optimistic Gou"?
Yes, neither by the video message nor coming to the press conference, but by the message on paper.2. "「お互いに頑張りましょう」と書面でエールを送られる" Does 書面 mean that the person who is cheering for her wrote an actual letter on paper?
Originally she was offered the roll around during shooting of other TV station's drama.3. "元々、他局のドラマの撮影期間前後にオファーを受けたという" What does that mean? I find it really really confusing...
Probably she wanted to say something like "straightening up."82riceballs;654415 said:4. のだめカンタービレ』(フジテレビ系)では"猫背"姿をお茶の間に見せていたが「今度はシュッとすまして、日本の女性を演じたい」と意気込んだ。What does "シュッとすまして" mean?
優秀俳優を表彰する『エランドール賞』のスタッフとして見かけした際に82riceballs;654415 said:5. "優秀俳優を表彰する『エランドール賞』のスタッフで見かけした際に、「雰囲気に惹かれた」という。" DOes this mean that "in the event that the Elan d'or Award staff happened to see...?" I'm not sure exactly what this statement means...
So basically she's saying that she wants to act out a "forward-looking Go"? Or is she "looking forward to acting as Go"? (前向きな江を演じたい)前向きな: positive/forward-looking(literally same as Japanese; 前向き or 前を向いている;-))
前向き is the same sense being used both for 江 (and herself) in the final paragraph. ;-). I'll leave the water business to an expert. hahaTHANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I just have one tiny question:
So basically she's saying that she wants to act out a "forward-looking Go"? Or is she "looking forward to acting as Go"? (前向きな江を演じたい)
The former, "江 as a positive/forward-looking person." When 前向き is modifying 演じたい or in the adverbial usage, the particle must be に; 前向きに江を演じたい.So basically she's saying that she wants to act out a "forward-looking Go"? Or is she "looking forward to acting as Go"? (前向きな江を演じたい)
And then "What does it mean in English" ?how do you say "are we doing anything today?"
もてる時期What the hell is モテ期 ? Something about having it (or being it?) 3 times in your life, when I typed it in google I got stuff like menstruel cycle, a prediction and being popular...
