I have some other words. These refers to the download tab of the program (in parentheses there are some explanations that they don't need to be translated).

Active (a source is active, so it can send data)

Unknown (it means there aren't informations on the specific source)

Not needed (it means that this source is not needed for the download)

Requested (it means the program have requested a file to a source)

Requesting (the program is requesting a file to a source)

Verified (the state of the source is verified)

Verifying (the program is verifying the state of the source)

No Space (it means there's no space on hard disk for the download)

No Info (there aren't info available for the download)

Preparing... (this refers to the state of a download. Preparing means that the program is "searching sources" and initializing the specific download)

I hope someone can help me...

Download by SNCollection (SNCollection is a collection of files, and I suggest don't translate this single word. This command takes a SNCollection and adds all files in the download list)

"の" is used to expresses that the word following "の" belongs to the category expressed by the word preceding "の". In other words, it works like "of" in English but the word order is the opposite. So (7 of 12) becomes (12 の 7).

If I may I'd like to make a suggestion which may help you. You may already know these tricks, but just in case.
If you want to look up technical words, try googling the original English word and restrict the language to Japanese on the search options. Chances are the word pops up on the first page with the Katakana written next to it. That's how I knew words like ｷｭｰ、ベリファイandハッシュare in common use in the IT world. The number of hits is also a great indicator how common the usage is.
Do you have dictionary functions added to your browser? I use firefox and there is an addon for it called Moji which I like. It's not perfect but is pretty convenient because you don't have to move form the site your on. You just highlight the word ,right click and the add on appears on the menu. If you click that, a sidebar appears with the definition and how it's read in hiragana. If you google moji it should pop up on the first page. I tried linking the URL here but got a message that I haven't made enough postings here and not yet entitled to do so.
When you've made up a phrase in Japanese but don't know how common the usage is, again go to google and restrict the language to Japanese. This time though use also the exact phrasing option. It should look like this on the search slot "データの要求". If you don't have the words in quotations, the search will break up the words and you'll end up with a lot of clutter. In this way I know that データの要求 is in more common use than データの請求. It has double the hit count.

I answer you in your PM, Sandhog.

In the connection tab there's a context menu. This contains the following command:
* Connect (it can connect to another person, giving IP address and TCP port number. I've translated 接する. I hope it's correct)

In the search tab I've the following words:
* Any (this is contained in the file type menu, and it means "all types". I translated 一式. Is it correct?)

* Restart search in network
* Restart all searches in network
(these two above explains themselves. One restarts a selected search in the network, the other restarts all)

* Previous (this button is contained in the file information window. It can move to the informations of the previous file in the list. I've translated next in ネクスト)

* Search Result
* Search Result Information
* Search Result Database
(search result means a file that I get from a search. I think that if I'll add 数 it means "number of search results").

Seeing that you do not have a Japanese dictionary, I assume you are not studying Japanese and this is just a one-off question, and you just want to know what the phrase in question means.

Kyoushi dewa arimasen* (w/out the R) means "(So and so) is not a teacher."

If I assumed wrong and you are studying the language, you really should get a hold of a dictionary as well as a good textbook. Do a search and you will find threads with great suggestions and recommendations for study materials.

Actually, I'm learning off of Rosetta stone. It's just I didn't quite understand what the words meant as to what they are trying to represent on the program.

Also, I'm not lecturing you, but I do believe you miss understood me. I didn't mean "Arimasen kyoushi dewa". What i was trying to get at is what the words mean individually not in a phase or sentence.
 
I'm still a beginner, but "arimasen" is the negative form of "arimasu" which is the polite form of "aru" which means "to be/exist." So, "arimasen" literally translates to "to not exist/be." "Kyoushi" is the occupation of teacher, although you wouldn't call your teacher this. You would call them "sensei." I don't know if "dewa" really means anything on it's own, I think you have to take it in context with the rest of the sentence since it is a double particle. Correct me if I'm wrong, but to use "~dewa arimasen" is kind of formal isn't it? In casual speech wouldn't you say "kyoushi jya nai," or "kyoushi jya arimasen"?

You've split the words incorrectly.

It's 途端（とたん、commonly followed by に）meaning immediately following (an event or phenomenon)

Yes, there are two buttons. One to move foward (next) and another to move back (previous). What do you suggest me?

Show StealthNet (を表示StealthNet - this button restores StealthNet when it's closed on traybar)
Close StealthNet (閉じるStealthNet - this button shuts down the program)

Are they correct?

Last request (this column indicate the time from the last request of a file in upload)
Last cleanup (this shows date of last database cleanup. I've translated only cleanup: クリーンアップ)
Create SNCollection (this makes an SNCollection. SNCollection hasn't to be translated)

Other Directories (this lists other directories)

No, it's not rude. "Arimasu" is actually the polite form of "aru." Neither of them mean no, or at least not in the way "iie" does, they just mean "to exist/be." Let me show you some examples.

"Pen jya arimasen." Is not a pen.
"Hon jya arimasen." Is not a book.

"Imasen" is the negative form of "imasu" which also means "to exist/be" but is used for animate things such as humans and animals. The dictionary form/less polite form of "imasu" is "iru."

"Kyoushitsu ni sensei ga imasen." The teacher is not in the classroom.

To understand correctly what each word means, you should learn the basic grammar (basic structure of sentence i.e. word order, what "particle" is and how it works, etc.)

He is a teacher. (affirmative sentence)
He is NOT a teacher. (negative sentence)

What you are asking is similar to "What does 'is' mean in English?" It might be 'is' in "He IS a teacher", "He IS not a teacher", "He IS tought by a teacher", "He IS teaching English", and so on. It's tough to answer simply.
You can find so many threads about Rosetta Stone in this forum. If you want to know grammar issues, Rosetta Stone doesn't seem to fit you.

No, corrupted means that the file is downloaded badly. So the file that I downloaded isn't equal to the sender one.

I just have a very short item for translation. I don't know why, but I hadn't even thought of posting it here until just now. It's supposed to be a signature by an artist or manufacturer. It's on the bottom of a sculpture. Does anyone know who it could be? Could it be a sousho version of ﾋ愿可ー ? It's the closest thing I can find. Thanks!
