修士(しゅうし)
BTW, "hakase" can mean professor or Ph.D. holder but is more often used to suggest a person who is very wise or extremely knowledgeable, such as ものしり博士(ものしりはかせ).
If the meaning is restricted to Ph.D. holder, 博士 is commonly read "hakushi."
Or 修士課程修了 ?? I mean it isn't like there's even one word or term in English...University graduate and Ph.D. (doctor), but M.A./M.S. seems more for the degree than the person.修士(しゅうし)
答えるもの
Maybe:. ...I have no idea, actually. For a person, you are supposed to say 答える人、答える者 (しゃ) or a gazillion others...but when a SWORD is the responder :emoji_flushed:....:
Because it's one possible question to the answer that you were looking to have corrected((引越しまで)後一週間). If you need an ending, which isn't normally required, put です、あります、となった。。。There's no があります either in the question or the answer.
Anyway, I do hope the practice was useful since I was equally tired.....Next time, though, just take advantage of your luck and don't ask too many questions.
Excite TranslatorAlright lol.
Yeah, I like translating the things you right, I just get frustrated when there are words I can't figure out or when I don't understand LOL
Excite Translator
Shop around for a friendly translator first and then ask. In this case, excite treats mine 90% well. (except for the "well"/"often" yoku confusion, pun not intended)..: :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Yes, the language was a bit technical for me but the jist is these Toyota (maybe others) models with built in collison avoidance systems or camaras/monitors that will act as sensors to evade oncoming obstacles/traffic are hampered by a limited range. They need to be supplemented with unobstructed human vision.Hello,
My friend told me that when he tries to start the engine of his car, he sees the following message displayed:
車両周辺の安全を直接確認してください。
Please help me translate it.
Thanks,
Yevgeny
P.S. If you google this sentence, you can find it in Toyota and Nissan sites. As I could understand from pictures, it's something related to parking cameras, but maybe I'm wrong.
どういたしまして。命を救うでしょうかね。Thank you very much, Elizabeth!
ジャイ子 / とか / いったっけな (=いったかな)。Hi, I have a question about some passages I read in doraemon. Here's the first dialogue:
のびた:僕はまだ子供だぞ。子供に孫があるもんか。
せわし(延びたのまご):あのね。。。、君だっていつかは大人になるだろう。そしたらお嫁さんをもらうだろ。
のびた:そうかしら。
せわし:もらうんだよ。
のびた:あ、相手は誰?静ちゃんじゃない?
ドラえもん:ジャイ子とかいったっけな。
「かいった」はどういう意味ですか?
The shuttlecock is the subject of the sentence, not Nobita. In another scene, when Nobita is retrieving a shuttlecock on the roof, he says "よ、よ、よしきた。" What does "yoshikita" mean? Does it mean, "Great! I'm here"
Is it secret path of hardship or more like "path of hidden/secret/unknown hardships?" with 人知れず hence modifying 辛い.人知れず辛い道を選ぶ、私を応援してくれる、あなただけを友を呼ぶ
I'm guessing it means, "I will choose the secret path of hardship. You are the only one I can call a friend, as you support me."
My translation sounds kinda messed up... better wait for a pro!
Is it secret path of hardship or more like "path of hidden/secret/unknown hardships?" with 人知れず hence modifying 辛い.
And most importantly is the writer actually talking about themselves or the friend ? :?
友を呼ぶ must be the typo of 友と呼ぶ. It's a statement.人知れず辛い道を選ぶ、私を応援してくれる、あなただけを友を呼ぶ
That means "まかは is the typo of まかわ."まかは-> まかわ
Hey guys.
I have alot of words I don't know, and Every online dictionary I try is worthless, so heres the things in my letter I don't understand.
watashi no ie niha 15 hiki no neko ga imasu.
6 gatsu 23 nithi kara sigoto wo hajimemashita.
mainithi taihen...
letter no henji ga konainode shinpai desu.
watashi wa 8 gatsu 25 nithide 21 age ni narimasu.
Kochi ha saikin hot kunattekimashita.
I know it's alot to translate, but I the online dictionarys I try don't help me at all. Anyone know of a good one that has more words than just neko and inu? lol
Wow! that was fast! Thank you very much, it makes alot of cents know.私の家には15匹ねこがいます。
Watashi no ie ni ha 15 hiki neko ga imasu.
There are 15 cats in my house.
6月23日から仕事を始めました
roku gatsu nijuusan nichi kara shigoto wo hajimemashita
I started work from the 23rd of June.
毎日大変
Mainichi taihen
Everyday is hard.
手紙(letter)の返事が来ないのでしんぱいです。
tegami (letter) no henji ga konai no de shinpai desu.
I worry if a reply to (my) letter doesn't come.
This one I'm not sure if I really read it correctly. If the writer is talking about himself/herself then I think its correct.
私は8月25日で21才になります
watashi ha 8 gatsu 25 nichi de 21 sai ni narimasu.
I turn 21 on the 25th of August.
こちは最近暑くなってきました
Kochi ha saikin atsuku (hot) natte kimashita.
Recently its become rather hot over here.
I hope this helps
手紙の返事が来ないので心配です。手紙(letter)の返事が来ないのでしんぱいです。
tegami (letter) no henji ga konai no de shinpai desu.
I worry if a reply to (my) letter doesn't come.
This one I'm not sure if I really read it correctly. If the writer is talking about himself/herself then I think its correct.
But seriously, I have to ask,, You still using romaji ? WHY??? Just that computer not having IME input ? Or is that what the letter was in also ? ? And what you need an 'online' dictionary for ?Wow! that was fast! Thank you very much, it makes alot of cents know.
tegami (letter) no henji ga konai no de shinpai desu <- this one said something before it but I didn't put it down cause I knew what it said.
友を呼ぶ must be the typo of 友と呼ぶ. It's a statement.
人知れず is modifying 選ぶ. That means 人に知られずに/人に知られないように; "without anyone knowing". If modifying (辛い)道, the conjugation should be 人知れぬ/人の知らない.
And 選ぶ is modifying 私, 応援してくれる is modifying あなた. It's the complicated structure...
EDIT:
So the translation would be like this.
You, supporting me who secretly choose the path of hardship, are the only one I can call a friend.
That means "まかは is the typo of まかわ."
If you're really interested in learning, can you try working through it yourself first ? Thanks !Thanks for the clarification and explanation!
so まかわ is the correction <-- what does まかわ translate to?
can someone also help me translate these phrases too:
一歩つづでいいさこの手を離さずに、ともに歩んだ日々がいき続けてるから、ボロボロになるまで引き裂かれていても、あの時のあの場所消えないこの絆!
Thank you!!
The word まかわ (and also まかは) itself does not make any sense.what does まかわ translate to?
I agree with Elizabeth. Or you can search again in some lyrics translation sites, like did in your previous posts.;-)cst;588574 said:Can someone also help me translate these phrases too:
