In Japanese, "meter" is most always メーター
スピードメーター
オドメーター

壊れます means "it is going to break." If it's already broken, you use 壊れています。

ケーブルが緩いんでしょうか？ This is the easiest way to ask someone's opinion.

手伝いしてくださいー＞手伝ってください This already suggests you expect the other person to help you, so you don't need あなたは私と.

ケーブルを直すのを手伝ってください。
治す means to "cure (an illness)."
直す means to correct something that is wrong, out of place, broken, etc.

I think you're using でも here to mean "but," but this does not connect from the previous sentence. So it should be omitted.
ケーブルを使ったー＞This means I/you used the cable. Do you mean the cable is old or used up?
Then, it's:
あなたのトラックのケーブルは古くありません。まだ、十分新しいです。
The cable on your truck is not old. It's sufficiently new.

that i didn't know if his truck used a cable since it is fairly new, a lot of older vehicles used a cable which rotated with the transmission to determine speed now a days most vehicles use electronic sensors. This is why I wasn't sure if his truck used a cable or a electronic sensor.

well now i know but i that is a good thing to know but it would be taken in context if i were to use it in speech sense you can't see the kanji coming out of my mouth..........
