Need a Kanji Translated? Just ask!

The Chinese characters on the prints are the names of the four beauties.
 
First, I am helping a friend design a tattoo based off of another friend's character tattoo. Problem is the tattoo is not the best quality and I do not know the stroke order. I recognize the bottom portion to be referring to right now or some form of present time but cannot make out the top portion. Does anyone recognize this and know its meaning? Or was it done improperly?

Second, he said it is supposed to be based off of a Japanese saying "and now is all we have - now and now again and nothing else." Problem is I cannot find this saying at all either in any of my books or online even. I am planning on incorporation sentiments to that sort into the tattoo if I can. Does anyone recognize the saying and know its origin? If not would someone be willing to give me that saying or something similar in any Japanese form with translation, preferably with the least amount of characters due to the smaller space of where the tattoo is wanted?

It looks like 唯今. The most common meaning of this word is simply "right now". I don't think it clearly conveys the idea you would like to convey, although it is close, and not that bad. In Chinese and Japanese, many words of wisdom are expressed with exactly four characters. One such phrase that I think approximately conveys your intended message is 歳月不待 (saigetsufutai), which roughly corresponds to "time and tide wait for no man". This four-character phrase is an abbreviated form of a longer, more well-known Japanese phrase having the same meaning.

Please collect a few more opinions from others on this before making a final decision.
 
Judging from the meaning of the original phrase, it might be supposed to express "only now".
 
How about:

諸行無常 the impermanence of all wordly things

色即是空 form is emptiness, matter is void, all is vanity

Both from Buddhism
 
Sounds like you are trying to say ヨロ. Or YOLO.

大雅？倫敦

The first two characters refers to the artist's name Taiga, and the last two means London. The third one is illegible.
 
Correction:
Sorry but the second kanji seems more like 維, so the artist's name would be 大維; Daii or Taii.

Seems like the name of a knife maker, steel company or something. The one on the handle is also the same. The second kanji 澤 is the traditional form of 沢.
 
Hello,
I'm from Hungary, and asking for help with translation of some Kanji.
The picture is taken from my sword, i received from my father.
(It is not mass produced. Handforged, and only one made. These are the facts i know.)
I hope the wrighting is really Japanese, and in fact Kanji.
Please help me find out, what is on my blade. (supposed to be a haiku or something).

That's a fake inscribed by someone who actually don't know kanji.

The designer/artist must want to mean "Tokyo", but the first kanji is wrong. The correct version is 東京.
 
Hello, I have a friend with a torii gate on the property that is believed to have been imported from Japan many decades ago. The gate is approximately 10 feet tall. I was wondering if anybody could translate the characters carved into it. It is difficult to capture them in a picture, but hopefully the pics I uploaded will show them adequately. Thank you!
