Frequently in computer games you see titles for levels such as, for example, 'Yoshi's Fruit Adventure' - Mario Sunshine, Gamecube.

If I was to say that, of course i'm using hiragana because I have no Idea if there are kanji for 'yoshi', and I don't know kanji very well anyway, would it be:

よしのきのみアドベンチャー。

and can I, for example, if I wanted to say 'My Dog'
私のいぬ。
or is there some rule for when you are making a statement for a title.

The word for fruit is 果物 くだもの kudamono, This generalizes all fruits. The word you used is more for berries I think.

Many titles follow your typical grammar structure so 私の犬のワクワク日
Could be "My dog's exciting day".

There maybe certain words that get used in titles to spice it up though.

Thanks, god I didn't know that み(mi) means berries.

EDIT: A quick search on freedict gave 'mi' as being 'fruit, nut, seed,content, good result' whilst きだもの （果物） (kudamono) came back as just 'fruit'.

Thanks for the help, I was just confused as to whether you had to put a word like です or いきたい on the end to make it a sentence.

み is used for the fruit of a specific plant, so ヤシのみ (palm fruit) is a coconut; クワのみ is a mulberry. Of course many fruits have their own names that don't require the use of み.

Titles don't have to be sentences and usually aren't. The Japanese name for Super Mario World 2 is ヨッシーアイランド (all katakana)

I think in this case (mind you I have never played this game),
ヨシのフルーツアドベンチャー
would be OK or even better than translating fruits into Japanese, because it sounds more "cute" in katakana than 果物 does.

I haven't played the Japanese versions of these games yet, haven't had time

I was aiming for 'Death is favourable' more than 'Death is lovable', so should I use ga instead of ha? (I put ha because I'm used to trying ha but I'm on a PC that doesn't have IME at the minute...)

Well if you read my post, you would see that it's spelled ヨッシー.

Even if you change it to ga, it will still say "I like death."

How about 死は好ましい (Death is favorable, desirable, nice, likeable...) 死の方がいい（好ましい）ですね。

Small detail, but Yoshi is spelled ヨッシー in Japanese.

Unless something's changed drastically in the last few months, Japanese people don't say みんなさん. They say みなさん or みんな (and sometimes みな, but I think that one's pretty rare).

Sorry, it is a forced habit that I have. I press 'n' about 3-4 times everytime I press it. I don't know why, I just do. I'll have to go arounnd and correct my other posts now grrr.

Thanks for alerting me to that, I keep forgetting when I type..

Just so you know, this post I had to press the backspace due to 'n' about 7 times, and that what when I was concentrating. 8 now. grrrrrrrrr I will have to avoid 'n' from now on.
