My Newest Toy!

Being an unrepentant gadget freak (Best Buy is my second home), I've added another toy to my ever growing stash, a new digital camera:



It's the Nikon Coolpix P1, 8 megapixels, 3.5 zoom, a huge 2.5 inch viewscreen and perhaps the neatest feature----wireless transfer or printing of photos via built-in WiFi! Way cool!! Caught a sale as this baby normally costs $549.99, but I bought it yesterday for $399.99! YAY!! Now, if you ask me nicely, I might be persuaded to take a pic of myself with the new toy!

HA!! Forgot all about that thread! Old age! The mind always goes first!


I came thisclose to buying a digital SLR, but just couldn't justify spending close to $900.00 on something like that, but the new toy works just fine. As for memory, I've got a 256MB SD card which at the setting I've got the camera on is good for nearly 250 pics. And I bought it just in time for Philly's annual auto show which starts today, I go to it every year and take lots of pics! Look for that coming soon!

My digital camera was one of the best things I bought ever. (mine's a Pentax Optio S4)
They are certainly worth the money.

Most definitely! My new toy is feature packed, portable, and takes great pictures. I'm gonna enjoy it for a long time to come!
