HI
my exam was yesterday ...
math was harder than past years....
Madie, when'll you know about the interview? :3
Don't worry yau,I'm sure you'll be ready by the time your exam comes ^^
Yeah,we were only ten people xD
Or seven actually, since three didn't show up for the exam..
Mikyo, you should only really worry about kanji if you wanna do well in C
You might find this useful..it'll be a bit easier to recognise kanji when you're learning the words that go with them ^^
It was for me cause I just started learning math xD
Yeah,there're more questions
Yep! So aim for A and B and if you have time, have a go at C! Though C is pure evil xD
May I ask you guys something?
In math do we have to write explainations, e.g "According to the law of cosine: a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2bccosA ..." or just write the formula or equations (in the exercises that they require to write the whole solution)?
One more thing, about part C in Japanese, I haven't learnt advanced level, so should I choose randomly or leave it blank? Which is better? :?
Hey
I'm applying for Natural Sciences B
So do I have to give Math A or Math B ?
Heeey guys, how is it going?
In Argentina the exams are on Tuesday 2nd!!! (July)
May I ask you guys something about the japanese exam? thing is, I've been studying only math. Do you think is worth it to give the japanese exam a shot? and study the week I've got left? Obviously, I'm going to take the easiest, as I've just started learning japanese.
Btw, that's another question: is the japanese test divided in levels? or it's the same test for everyone?
Anyways, what about you? Have you done the exams yet? Are you nervous? (I do!) and for those who've already done the exams... are you still nervous? lol
Thank you in advance! and I wish you guys the best luck <3!
I'm also from Arg. What are you applying for?
If you just have 3 subjects (Maths, English and Japanese) you need a good level of Japanese.
I have to go on 1st and 2nd But just because I also have chemistry and physics, but they told me that in my case Japanese won't be so important since I also have those subjects...
I see. I'm applying for Social Science. I didn't see that coming! I thought the Japanese exam was only to test your level of Japanese and that's it. I've read that English is way more important than Japanese
There's no way I can pass it. I've started learning japanese a few months ago. Probably I can't even pass the easiest one.
Ok, so, I'm in trouble! D:
Well the first exercises from previous years are not that hard, with some basic knowledge you may do it right. And for the rest you can just do "tateti". That's what I'm going to do...
Maybe If you have a perfect English and a very good Math level (if you school notes were kind of good) they will give you a chance. I heard that last year only one person got the scholarship, and this year is even harder so yeah, we all are in trouble.
Just try your best in those subjects and practise for the interview. (Also remember to go with formal clothes...)
